The city of san mateo considers a plan that will let restaurants expand, so they can retain as many tables as possible, city leaders are talking about banning cars on p street, 25th avenue and other neighborhoods with several restaurants, letting the Restaurant Owners follow social distancing rules by letting them the tables on the streets, the mayor of san mateo said it is one way to keep restaurants in business. We are trying to create spaces outdoors and, where people can eat. The governors plan is being implemented, as we had to phase 2 and three, but we know because of social distancing that restaurants will not be able to use all of their tables. In order to open their doors, they will have to have spaces out in the open air in front of their restaurant, where they can seat people safely and comfortably. Many are interested in the idea. The organization representing hairstylists and barbers will sue the governor, a response to state regulators threatening to pull the license held salons that violate the shutdown order. The professional Beauty Federation wants salons to reopen with restrictions. The executive director says it is safer then what is happening now. The attorney general in texas wants a judge to reverse a seven day jail sentence that is given to a beauty salon owner who ignored orders to close her business. She was sentenced after keeping her shop open despite a restraining order on top of the state orders to stay shutdown. Putting her interests ahead of the community, she disrespected the executive orders of the state, and the orders of the county and the city.
