President trump said he will not extend them. 30 states relaxed. Today, stayathome orders in 12 states will expire. More than 60,000 people in the u. S. Have died due to the corona virus and Health Experts say continued vigilance will be crucial to keep the u. S. Below the 70,000death level forecast by some of the models. If we are unsuccessful or prematurely try to open up and we have additional outbreaks in are out of control, it could be much more than that. It could be a rebound. The original white house social distancing guidelines took effect on march 15th calling for americans to work from home. Limit travel and avoid big gatherings. President trump says it is not necessary to extend those guidelines because now governors are incorporating those recommendations into their own plans. Well, President Trump will fly to arizona next week. It will be his first trip outside of washington d. C. In a month. Hell be visiting the Honeywell Aerospace plant which is making personal protective equipment right now. The president also says hell be flying to ohio soon and he hopes to resume Campaign Rallies at some point. Today, Governor Newsome will announce the closure of all beaches and state parks because of the threat of the coronavirus. The closures start tomorrow to prevent the crowding that was seen at several Southern California beaches last weekend. Social distancing is making a difference that six bay area counties will begin certain out reopen such as nurseries. Some Outdoor Recreational facilities like golf courses can also reopen. Construction projects of all sizes will resume under the easing of the shelter in place order. That includes residential, commercial, and public works. The six counties are alameda, contra costa, marin, San Francisco, and santa clara. Labor leaders offer their input which mandate the use of personal protective equipment, social distancing, and spreading out chips. There was a deadly stabbing at a Hotel Parking lot apparently tied to drug sales. These are so isolated and frightening incidents. U. C. Berkeley says crime as a whole is still down. But he says that the current spike continues that might mean one thing. The more generates go up, the more that is telling you that lots of people arent socially distancing.
