Officers arrived but the man was gone. He realized that the man had stolen a surveillance camera and slashed the tire of his car. His family couldnt sleep after that. But then at 4 00 a. M. , the same man came back, this time carrying a ma hettie. Perhaps he didnt know that at the time. That was scary. Ss other you see a man stealing a second camera. We came really quick, within five minutes. The police got him but let him go with a citation. The suspect wasnt booked in a jail in part because of coronavirus concerns. The Police Officer explained that it is not because of the covid 19 situation. If not for the situation, he would have been arrested. The Police Officer said their hands are tied up. They cant really do anything because they dont want to spread the virus through the inismates. Police say they didnt find a ma hettie on the suspect. If he had, he could have been booked. Scared that the man could return. It is mindboggling to have to wait for that guy to, you know, break that door and then who knows what he would do with that ma hettie.
