Now, John Hopkins University reports there are more than 23,000 cases in california with 600 and 82 deaths. There are 400 reported cases in the bay area and 133 deaths. Al me ka county has 845 cases and 22 deaths. The time is 6 03. The San Francisco Health Department cleared out the biggest shelter after a massive outbreak of the coronavirus. Everybody has been relocated or move today the hotels to isolate or quarantine. According to the shelter, its converted to a medical Recovery Center for the homeless that have the virus. The Alameda County Sheriff Office reports a number of active inmate cases at the county jail has dropped now from 15 to 14. One inmate recovered fully. Two of the Staff Members at the jail have tested positive. Alameda county public defender wants 115 inmates released immediately because theres six months or less to serve on the jail time and releasing them could help to stop the spread of the virus.
