Would obviously love to have date to work back from to get our players fully ready for the majorleague baseball season. We dont have that we dont expect to have it, so our job is to stay in peak physical condition, independent of baseball. The way i would do it is by running full speed, four or five times a day i take five or six high intensity swings to simulate what the game action looked like. I make a lot of throws, even if i didnt have a partner. I may not be sharp when i got into the batters box but you Better Believe that im physically conditions for the activities. Former ktvu anchor, Tori Campbell is living in singapore and has a unique ask perspective on life in the country. Now, after getting praise for the handling of the outbreak, singapore is now under a lockdown there they are on a second round. I chatted with her this week about what its like there and how some of the screening and notifications they are using in that country are similar to ones being looked at here. This is a common thing, three or four times a day, eight before we went into full lockdown, most of the times when i wanted to go inside of a building i need to snap a picture of that with my phone and fill out the survey. And they just know. So if you came down with a positive test they would just go back into all of your data and say this is all the places these are all the same people who were in the same place. Exactly. I wonder if i could see a lot of people in america saying, thats big brother, im not telling you where im going, you dont get to know that about my activity. What you know, its so interesting here, not only that but there is an app that you can sign up, its optional, but you can have the government, if you sign up with this app on your phone, the government can trace your every step and can let you know when you have been in contact with someone or close to someone who has it. And a lot of westerners are uncomfortable with that idea, because its a very big brother. They are following you but a lot of people here, even westerners, are okay because i would rather give up a little bit of privacy for my safety. Its a choice i guess. Yes. Scanning the code is not a choice though . Its a choice to go into the store. You could choose not to go in. If you want to go in the store you have to scan and fill out the form. This picture is interesting. So now im studying a generalized picture more than i wouldve evers studied one before. In this coronavirus we are living in, dont touch her face, and where your mask. Normally, its normally a pretty busy crosswalk on orchard road down the street from us and you would have people jammed at the crosswalk waiting, its interesting seeing people spread apart and this is before the full lockdown i think this was taken on sunday which is normally a very busy day with tons of people out was noticeable, the lack of people before the full lockdown went into effect. If people wanted to take their masks off and decided to put them back on once the lockdown is in place because it does change the way you look at things. Those are some fish in the Singapore River that you normally dont see. There are normally tourist boats around the river that are working right so youre seeing more fish and wildlife. We have Botanic Gardens not too far from us, beautiful gardens like central park and thereve been quite a few people in their and you come stay away from each other and bust around. Weve seen enormous lizards crawling around, its kind of cool. The water is clear, you can see a lot of things that you dont normally see. All right, so many interesting lessons to be learned from countries around the world as we all survive the pandemic together. Mornings on 2, we will be right back were all doing our part by staying at home. That could mean an increase in energy bills. You can save by setting your heat to 68 or lower.
