Reporter thats right, pam. Really all over the country and passenger haves taken to social media to share their experiences on the grand princess cruise ship. Even the people trying to stay positive admit this process has been pretty tough. Well take you to video of what the process has looked like for the last couple of days and break down exactly what we know this morning. As of 7 00 last night, 1,400 passengers have gotten off the cruise ship but theres still a couple00 passengers and about 1,100 crew members on board. Theyre working faster now. On monday, only about 400 passengers disembarked. They moved slower because they gave priority to people with medical issues. The goal is for the rest of the passengers to make it off the ship today or by early tomorrow. Their journey does not stop there, though. Once that theyre off, they go into a 14day quarantine. Their quarantine plans havent been shared yet. Its been more than two weeks since passengers first got on the cruise ship and some we talked to say the has been frustrating at times. They could of streamlined stuff a little bit quicker. Reporter american guests are being guest transferred to Travis Air Force base. Mirra mar air force base in texas, and date of birth bins air reserve base in georgia. The office of Emergency Services says canadians were taken to Oakland International airport to fly to a Canadian Military base. Heres what we know in a written Statement Last night from the transportation security administration. They said, quote, the officers are receiving medical care and all tsa employees they have come into contact with are quarantined at home. What we dont know how many other workers or passengers those three infected officers did come into contact with. Neither the tsa nor airport representatives have answered questions about where in the airport those officers worked or what their roles were. Weve reached out to the airport and Health Officials to get more information. Meanwhile, Santa Clara County is the hardest hit in the state when it comes to cases of coronavirus. Its prompted Health Officials to now enact starting today, a ban on all gatherings of more than a thousand people. That includes sporting events. Advise social distancing for crowds larger than a thousand. All that business, you dont ever get back. Were looking at the story for 2020, march is going to be a lost month for us. Washingtons governor jay insley will restrict events of more than 250 people in three counties. That move will effect concerts and sporting events in particular in the seattle area. Most of them are here in the bay area where 100 people are infected. Three people have died in california. They were in placer, santa clara, and sacramento counties. The Sheriffs Office is already trying to prevent the coronavirus from being transmitted in jail by screening new inmates for Infectious Diseases and going through their medical history the Contra Costa County is under a medical emergency. Six of the ten infections were by community transmission. Doctors say their new guidance to avoid large crowds is especially important for high risk groups such as elderly and those with Underlying Health conditions. We understand that these recommendations may impact our lives and be difficult to implement. We considered them very carefully. A relative of students at m eeumdra vista and washington Elementary Schools in richmond tested positive for the virus. The students are now quarantined at home but the schools are staying open for now. The west Contra Costa County School District says the students have not been in contact with that relative for more than a week. The arch diocese of San Francisco has ordered all 90 Catholic Schools operates to close for two weeks. Starting tomorrow that affects schools in marin county and san mateo county. Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein scheduled to be sentenced. He could get up to 29 years in prison after being convicted of sex crimes two weeks ago. Yesterday new Court Documents were unsealed, showing that weinstein appealed to influential people for help. In several emails he wrote after news broke he was accused of sexually assaulting women. Weinsteins own brother wrote an email calling him a sexual predator. New details are coming out about horse deaths at the santa anita racetrack and found no illegal medications were used on the horses. It also found about 40 of the deaths occurred on surfaces affected by wet weather. At least 49 horses have died at that racetrack since january of last year. Time is 6 57. A man is in jail for shining lasers at cars on the north bay. That included a chp patrol car conducting whats known as a traffic break at the time, slowing down cars by driving back and forth across all of the highway lanes. Police say they saw a green beam of light come through their car. Then as they got closer to marin city, there was an even brighter light that could have temporarily blinded the driver.
