He died on impact. Witnesses told police that the honda had the green light and isaiah crossed against the do not walk sign it. He knows how fast the traffic is always flying through here, i just dont see him doing something stupid like that. The family says the intersection is dangerous and not well lit and they have questions. How far was isaiah in the crosswalk, one witness says he was almost to the other side, and how fast was the accord going . I dont see how they didnt see him. I would think there would at least be skid marks. Ideas shoes were found 40 feet away from the crosswalk and the family was told that Traffic Cameras did not capture the accident. Isaiah was known as a mamas boy who rarely left the house. Police say that their actions help them make a quick arrest. Police say a woman at this 24 hour fitness on busy paseo padre parkway was sexually assaulted while taking an exercise class. They say 33 yearold jonathan anderson, transient, managed to walk into the gym and attack the woman during her workout. She was doing pushups when she was attacked from behind by a suspect she did not know. These will happen monday evening around 6 30, gym patrons we spoke with say they did not know about the assault and were surprised. This incident is concerning because fremont is a very safe community. Im just in shock, im not really that afraid to come back. Anderson held the victim to the ground, pulled down her clothing and try to sexually assault her when another patron saw what was happening and intervened. He ran over, pushed the suspect of the female, grabbed a mat and basically held it between the attacker and the victim to save her. When the suspect tried to leave, the Good Samaritan followed him and alerted others. Gym employees held onto anderson until police arrived. They say the suspect smelled of alcohol and he acknowledged that he had drink earlier in the day. He was not bashful, he admitted to what he did, and made a bunch of sick comments as to why he did it and what he was attempting to do. Police want to know if there are more victims. This man tells me he sees anderson talking to himself frequently at the nearby bart station. He was talking at a high level, so i thought he was talking to somebody else. Which led me to believe he had some mental issues. Anderson faces charges of assault with intent to commit oral copulation, Sexual Assault and probation violation. Police say he has prior convictions for dui and grand theft. Anderson is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow morning at the east county hall of justice in dublin.
