now, so six months out of the year. so friends i have to say has been the toughest. especially paris. they do not even come to laugh. they come to judge the show. i tell them. if i had to rank the toughest audiences on the world, it would be paris and then isis and then everything else. it's like you have been successful in france. you have a residency at the paris the casino. how to to crack that market? >> slowly. because i grew up speaking all of these languages i slowly made my way and after my success in canada just to kind of figured out culturally what made them tick and the whole cultural roast about france. that is what i do and america. basically a roast of america from the canadian neighbor. >> called her a culturally roast your american audience. what our our quirks and idiosyncrasies to poke fun out. >> talk about the differences. we are neighbors but we are so different. >> canada and the u.s. yes. >> in the quibec and the u.s. is like another country. >> quibec and the universe. if you look at it and canada, weed is illegal and guns are illegal. and in the u.s., guns are legal and weed is illegal in most states and the canada we are allowed to drink at 18. what happens. every long weekend you guys come to our country and mess up our country. so i found a solution. we are going to build a wall. and you are going to pay for it. >> that is a perfect segue about political comedy. some comedians do not like to go there. you prefer not to shy away from you and you embrace it. >> i love it. it is part of the landscape now. we are living through these times were everything is polarized. not just in america. around the world. i've traveled and they were everywhere and the world is becoming polarized within countries. that leads to great comedy. the company happens within the gap between the left and right. the elite in the popular.>> finding universal similarities, and differences. and that is where i think i thrive. people stay, whatever is bad for humanity is great for comedy. this is why i'm touring america right now. like a lot of material to work with. you have a favorite city he likes to perform within the u.s.? >> i love america because everywhere that i go in the world, each country has one or two major cities but america has a dozen. so you are able to see all of these different cities and these different states that are culturally dfee another. it feels like you have a 50 little countries within the spigot country. it is graded to explore and to see that. >> out of california and me areas would agree with you. >> i'm sure californians and bay area residents inc. oakland and several cisco is way different. >> it is amazing that the distance the bridge can't create. you're performing in sunnyvale over the next several shows and some are sold out?
