That intruder escaped in a black car, maybe a volkswagen jetta. The police were searching the neighborhood and checking surveillance video. The homeowner says back in 2017 she had another earlymorning burglary. All northbound lanes of highway 17 in campbell are open again following another deadly crash of a wrongway driver. The chp reports a honda heading southbound in the one northbound slammed into Toyota Avalon at 3 30 a. M. The wrongway driver died at the scene. The person behind the wheel of the avalon was taken to the hospital. The scene was cleared just before 6 00 a. M. This was the bay areas second deadly crash involving the wrongway driver in two days. Youll remember a wrongway driver was killed on highway 1 in pacifica. All lanes of northbound 101 are open again after a deadly crash in san jose northbound 101 south of the story road off ramp. Overnight video shows the charred remains of the car. Police say the car slammed into a pole trapping the driver inside before it went up in flames. There are representatives from the nonprofit city team and benefactor finnet kincaid helped open the house of light. It will house 14 women for up to a year as they transition into the next phase of their lives. Its about onethird of the people that are homeless are women and children so yes, the women that are calling our program are desperate. The kincaid Family Foundation purchased the home and donated money to turn it into a shelter. It was named the house of light in recognition of the late artist Thomas Kincaid who was known as the painter of life.
