Miss cook in an all white space suit has a record for the lodgest space flight by a woman. Today theyll be replacing some Hydrogen Nickel with lithium eye onbatteries. Hes dedicating this tour around the state to finding solutions to deal with the homeless crisis. The governor has included more than a billion dollars in funding in the state budget to deal with the homeless krietsz he plans to be here in the bay area crisis he plans to be here in the bay area tomorrow. Oakland mayor libby shaft is applauding a group of oakland mothers who drew a lot of attention to the homeless crisis. Yesterday two mothers and two of their supporters got out of jail. Last week a judge ruled that the woman of the group moms for housing had to leave a home in west oakland that they had been taken over and living in since november. That home was purchased in july. Its been vacant and sat empty until they moved in with their kids. They wanted to be arrested but would not put up a fight. Oakland mayor libby shaft criticized some of the actions taken by the Sheriffs Department. I was pretty shocked to see the tactics that were used to take them out of the home. Now the Sheriffs Department says they didnt know what to expect when they got there but theyre happy no one was hurt. The Sonoma County board of supervisors approved the purchase of two homes to help ease a growing crisis there. One homes a two bedroom, one bath home in santa rosa. The others a two bedroom two bath cottage. Because of crimes, rats, drugs and other problems and we have to have the right kind of numbers of supportive housing. 95 of it sticks. Now the board of supervisors is trying to work out a temporary emergency outdoor shelter in santa rosa. They plan to have the homes and the out door shelter ready by the end of the month. A man gun possession trial was supposed to begin this week but it was put on hold by a judge who was questioning the mental competence of Garcia Zarate. Kate steinly was killed while she walked with her father at pier 14 in july of 2015. A San Francisco jury found Garcia Zarate not guilty of murder and manslaughter. While democrats were debating last night in iowa President Trump was in milwaukee holding a rally where he defended the decision to kill the Iranian Military leader qassem soleimani. Qassem soleimani was responsible for murdering and wounding thousands of americans and was actively planning new attacks but we stopped them cold. Now President Trump called democrats weak on national security. This is all happening as congress is getting ready to send articles of impeachment to the senate for a trial.
