Adam schiff took about 20 minutes for his Opening Statement followed by devin nunes and this is a live look at williams taylor, acting ambassador to ukraine. Just moments ago, there were Opening Statements by the top diplomat official. They were both shown in about two minutes ago. Adam schiff gave a timeline of everything thats happened since the july phone call between President Trump and the ukraine president. Nunes followed with his Opening Statement and it really wasnt a defense of the president , but rather an attack on democrats, heres a part of each of their speeches. Is this what americans should expect from their president . If this is not impeachable conduct, what is . Anyone familiar with the democrats scorched earth war against President Donald Trump would not be surprised to see all the typical signs that this is a carefully orchestrated media smear campaign. Of course the question at the center of the impeachment inquiry, did President Trump abuse his power when he asked for the ukrainian president to investigate his political rival joe biden. Once these Opening Statements wrap up both republicans and democrats, their attorneysville 45 minutes to question both of those men and President Trump has repeatedly said his july phone call was perfect, that he did nothing wrong. There was no quid pro quo, this impeachment inquiry is a which hunt and well wait to see all of these answers that come out with these two men.
