Police call logs confirm orindas only two patrol officers were in oakland at the time of the shooting. They were helping out the Lafayette Police with a Home Invasion robbery investigation which led to oakland. The shootings happened just before 11 00 halloween night. According to the police logs, two calls came in about a loud party before the shooting. Police didnt get to the scene until 10 minutes after the shooting. So far, no arrests have been made. Well theres new information from San Jose Police about a deadly officer involved shooting saturday afternoon. It happened on southbound highway 85 just north of winchester. San jose police chief eddie garcia said the police had been looking for the 29yearold felon since october and say the same man backed into a police car and led police on a chase. Then on saturday, police say the suspect was a passenger in a car that was pulled over by police. The driver who was a suspects father followed the Police Orders to get out of the car but his son did not. The suspect pulled a gun from his waistband and raised it in the direction of the officer. Now police say while one officer was struggling with the suspect a second officer fired at the suspect hitting him at least once and he died at the scene the name of the suspect has not been released. 5 people who were shot at the popular festival in july have followed a lawsuit.
