Reporter much officials will process those ballots until 10 pm tonight and new numbers should be announced at 4 00 this afternoon. This has been a tight race since the polls closed tuesday. A public defender got the most first points on tuesday but the rate vote method had leif dautch getting more. A fire in Sonoma County is 100 percent contained more than a day sooner than expected. It burned more than 121 miles and it destroyed 374 buildings including 174 homes. Other buildings were damaged and four firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but it had problems near where the fire started just before flames first reported. The fire cleanup is underway. Sonoma county is looking for a contractor to remove debris for places where destroyed buildings are. It will run through the end of the month. The owners and residents have been told not to go into areas that burned without wearing protective equipment such as masks. They have to authorize any cleanup work before it can begin.
