They are okay and by this afternoon, 25, 35 and by tonight, 40 milesperhour looks to be in the forecast with 30 from Cobb Mountain and 36 and 41 and cloverdale and by 7 00 tonight, some locations around healdsburg, 3040 around geyserville and even the wind in calistoga, 41 milesperhour tonight into tomorrow morning and that looks to be the strongest gusting with temperatures in the 30s and 40s and highs in the 60s and the 70s and that is the system digging in and after that goes through, it looks quiet past wednesday. The San Jose City council will consider opening Warming Centers for half the year rather than just periods of inclement weather. Its 4 37 and many have lost Cell Phone Service because of the wildfires and combined with the pg e power shut off. In marin county, almost 50 of all cell sites were down as of friday. In Sonoma County, 17 of cell phone sites had no power. We dont know how many cell phone customers lost service, but the fcc is asking the wireless providers to report the numbers and locations of all cell phones that are out. The power situation is hit and miss at gas stations in Sonoma County with many gas stations closed because of the power outage and others simply ran out of gas. Gas stations that were open had long lines of cars and trucks with gas stations refilling tanks more often than usual during the power shut off. They say they still had trouble keeping up with the demand. Pg e acknowledges its equipment may have spark fires in lafayette last weekend and they are suspected of causing the kincade fire. Reporter Antonio Ramirez worked at a very ordinary hospital and his wife is a housecleaner. They said their places of employment have no power and they cant go to work. The family said they came to San Francisco because there is power and they stayed at a hotel on sunday and then learned about a shelter opening at st. Marys cathedral. We saw it on the channel 2news. Reporter they said it was a safe place with beds, food and other necessities to help them cope with the uncertainty. Those who lost their homes the first night, Late Wednesday night, are in the vineyard area and in agriculture areas of Sonoma County. Reporter a nonprofit in healdsburg has a group helping more than 1000 immigrant families. Most are farm and vineyard workers displaced by the fire. Services provided include money for food and gas. That is what we are providing, for people to get to a safe place because we dont know when we can go back. Reporter the rimers family is taking it one step at a time. The shelter is a refuge as they worry whether the fire will destroy their home and how to pay their bills. This temporary home is their best option, for now. We dont want to spend the money we have saved on hotels. Its okay there. Reporter im told the capacity at the shelter in st. Marys cathedral is 200. Reporter when the kincade fire broke out last week, healdsburg became the closest Evacuation Center and then all of healdsburg and windsor were forced to leave and know petaluma is the focal point. Petalumas housing a lot of folks and we are at capacity all over. Reporter among those is a man evacuated from his home in bodega bay and hes angry his power was shut off and angry at the whole situation. Im concerned about my refrigerator, freezer, a lot of food in there. Im on a fixed income and how will i replace that if it spoils . Reporter many are asking the same question. If these fires and evacuations are the new normal, is it worth staying . I dont want to go through this every year or even again. If i had the money, id move from california tomorrow, tomorrow. This will pick up through the lake county and in the northern snohomish county. 75 humidity and thats good. 34 in santa rosa but the wind forecast is not favorable and its not bad in the morning, but later this afternoon, we get about 35 and by this evening, 43 at cloverdale, 43 at geyserville and anywhere from 2735, 45 tonight all the way to windsor at 44 milesan hour. Calistoga, 40 late tonight, 8 00 and 10 00 and into tomorrow morning. By tomorrow afternoon, it should tail off but the next 12 hours are critical. 3435 in santa rosa and napa and some 30s to the east. 39 in alamo, pleasanton, 39 degrees and 40 in pitt knoll. That is the system visiting more the Northeast Area of nevada and Salt Lake City and that will generate the wind. Much farther east than what we had and maybe one of those forecasts, it wont be as bad but it will be the third one in 10 days to issue a red flag warning, unprecedented. 50s through 70s on the temps, wont go too far today but after wednesday, it looks really quiet with no event of anything with temperatures 70s and mostly sunny.
