It has burned nearly 85 mi. 2 since it started on wednesday. It is now threatening to cross saddle ridge into napa county. Cal fire reports 90 for buildings include more than 30 homes destroyed. Nearly 80,000 more structures, homes and businesses threatened this morning. Cal fire says 200,000 people live in order to evacuate. We want to show you this map. The dark red areas aborted by a bright red by the top of the screen is where the kincaid fire is burning. The light lavender sections on the map are the mandatory evacuation zones. County Officials Say nearly half of the people who live in Sonoma County have been ordered to evacuate. Sara zendehnam begins live coverage. Sarah is at a golf course east of windsor. What is it like out there right now . Reporter good morning. We are on silo oaks. This is a gated community and it is just about a mile and a half away from the golf course. We will walk you through what we have to be careful because the fire is going up the tree. It is a concern that the trees could fall into the road. We will walk you through and kind of show you. You can obviously see there are still flames here. The fire did roll to the area within the last couple of hours. Really this whole area has been devastated by the fire. The good news is that we do see do not see too many homes destroyed. A lot of i brought up and down the mighty roads in the area as they have been keeping their i on the houses. We did see at least one house that was destroyed in the area. The kincaid fire continues to cause widespread destruction across Sonoma County. It blew up inside over the weekend. As of sunday night at boente 54 thousand 298 acres. Containment dropped down to 5 . As of last night, 90 for structures have been destroyed and 17 have been damaged. We will get an update later this morning and are expecting the numbers to change. Sonoma county sheriff mark essex says they made the right call by ordering massive evacuations to cities across the county. He said he saw the fire from a helicopter on sunday and the fire was still very active. Evacuation notices are warranted. He assures people who left there more than 200 officers patrolling evacuation zones to make sure homes are secure from crime. They have not made any arrests from looting but officers did arrest one person on sunday. We had a person enter an evacuation zone. With no apparent business. And questioned by police. He was unable to provide a residence in the area. Based on that, we made an arrest. Reporter we are on shiloh oaks and this is a gated community. Very densely vegetated area. You can see all of the field that has burned around the area. There is across the road from where we are, unscathed by the fire. Still dry brush. The concern is that some of the fire there are a lot of the fire trucks from different departments all up and down the road. A lot of off roads in the area a lot of homes as well. Just about one or two homes you can see the orange glow it was so dark out here and that is where the fire was burning he rolled through the area and we are just about a mile and a half from the golf course on shiloh oaks, and you can see the fire still burning here right now. Before you go we see the flames and we see your math. Are the is the wind strong where you are . Reporter it is not that bad. It is not nothing compared to what we saw yesterday. The wind at this same time were ripping up really intensely glowing embers. Things appear to be pretty calm. We are at one point this wind event is unpredictable and could be predictable in other areas. Here in shiloh oaks it is not too bad. What is was the traffic getting up there there is such a big traffic backup as people tried to evacuate. Reporter that is right. We saw that yesterday when we were going northbound 11. The southbound lanes were completely packed full of people. Today is a much different story. It seemed like people have less listened to the evacuation notices officials have been putting out. We really did not see anyone on the road. Really the only people on the road are fire officials, Law Enforcement and the media. You have not been much traffic at all. Today is the break the firefighters get before another offshore wind event that will start on tuesday. I am glad to hear that the wind has ramped down and certainly come a that will be the case through the day today. We are under the red flag warning until 11 am. The wind is rolling down little sooner than expected. That is the next likely red flag warning. Another offshore event up near the kincade fire the wind has diminished about 3 miles per hour. As you get across you see it goes up a little bit up to elevation it is a different story. At the surface, nice and calm looking terrific. However, st. Helena and mount diablo. Gusting into the 40s still went out there they are dealing with these coming over the mountains over the kind of areas. Heres the wind gusts looking at 3 00 and looks fantastic. Heres the problem getting into tuesday. Particularly tuesday afternoon and into the evening. This is 7 00. Next offshore event hitting us as we get into those two days. This is where we are now. Temperatures are pretty mild in the 40s and 50s. We having visibility issues out there. One of them in concord. Also around 18. Just watch out for that. We do not have a lot of traffic this morning. There are closures. With Law Enforcement but it is different than what it was yesterday. We do not have a lot of swelling yet on interstate 80 or interstate 880, driving all the way around. You can see traffic on the bridge that looks good and we also have a little bit of slowing on the Altamont Pass approach onto a five and 580. That commute looks okay. This is a look at interstate 80 and oh, and the traffic is okay at the bay bridge toll plaza. There is a small delay. Lets go back to the desk. At least one winery and the Alexander Valley area of healdsburg is been destroyed by the kincade fire. Over the weekend, de soto rock winery in healdsburg burned to the ground. Flames raced to the Main Building and the tasting room yesterday morning. Other buildings on the property also burned to the ground. It was restored after is purchased in the year 2000. All that is left of the winery is a Historic Stone fagade and steel sculpture. Fremont fire battalion chief marc navarro joined us on the 10 00 news next the hours and days. The power could be shut off 5 to 7 days and he said the poses a big fire problem for firefighters. We have another offshore wind event that will start to roll and you start to see Tuesday Morning that things pick up and get worse into the evening and the overnight hours is likely where it will be the strongest wind. This is the setup that we have and the red flag warning is expiring today but the next round of the offshore wind event, tuesday into wednesday is the timing. This is not expected to be as strong or as long as the one we have gone through. However, will still create critical fire weather and as you can imagine for the firefighters trying to get a handle on things, a comp case things much further as they cannot say the wind will calm down and stay calm.
