Its definitely going to be a bigger event, more aerial coverage so youll see more east bay hill winds. Youll notice it in berkeley, richmond, right down to sea level and its going to last longer. Reporter this is all that remains of her home in geyserville. The fire destroyed it and others along the red winery road. 49 structures have been destroyed leaving two thousand under mandatory evacuation orders. Overnight well have 26 deputies protecting the neighborhoods evacuated. Reporter once again, they have room for about 20 more people here, especially if you have small animals. There is also one in santa rosa where they have hurns ofbeds and large animals are welcome. Paul, thank you. Pg e says it experience as problem with a high voltage line around the time the kincade fire started. Pg e says the 230volt line had an outage around 9 20 last night on a transmission tower near the geysers near where the fire started a. Utility worker spoke at the site who pointed out a broken piece of equipment on the tower. The line had not been deenergized before the fire although lower voltage lines were turned off. They did not meet the conditions that we forecast for the transmission level out tambellinis. We didnt see the winds speeds in the forecast thatsee for transmission outage. Pg e says that tower had been inspected four times in the past two years. It appears to have been in excellent condition, recently inspected so well have to wait for the results of our investigation and cal fire to learn more about that. Pg e says cal fire had taped off an area around the base of the transmission tower pending an investigation. The utility doesnt know if that sparked the fire. An update on the fire burning on the San Mateo County coast. The fire is burning in some brush and cal fire updated us and said the fire is holding at 95 acres. They say favorable winds conditions are helping them to build containment lines. The fire is 25 contained this. Fire started just before 6 00 off highway 1, about five miles away from pescadero. The mines fire broke out a short time ago, now grown to 35 acres. There are no reports of the fire homes or buildings. The fire forceed the closure of mines road in both directions.
