Reporter Officials Say after the winds died down thursday afternoon, it could take 24 hours to two days for pg e crews to go out and inspect the energized allies and its make sure those are not damaged before they turn the power back on. That is at the surface. It will finally start to ramp down as we get into thursday. We look at three things. Wind is one of the biggest ones. We can see gusts higher up at about 45 to 55 Miles Per Hour. They also look at relative humidity levels, expecting those to drop. Rather than 36 to 37 like normal, we are talking 10 and 20 . That means dry conditions. All of the things that grew in our nice wet spring, and became dry over the summer. This is our one wild card that is going to help with that. Temperatures will continue to drop as we head toward wednesday into thursday. You can see the high will be in the upper 70s. I will take that over 90 any day of the week. Investigators are trying to figure out what let out to that tragedy. We are at the Newark Police department with the latest on the investigation. Reporter that the case has been turned over to the da, moments ago. They cannot tell me if this 15yearold boy will face charges in the death of another. Loved ones are grieving over the shooting death of anthony guzman, the 15yearold boy was shot at this home in newark. There was light flashing i could see in our bedroom window. I got up, it was saturated with police cars. Reporter police were called to the home about 11 30 thursday night. The office is located a 15 yearold male victim suffering from an appearance gunshot wound. Anthony was taken to a hospital, but cannot be saved. May believe it to be a firearm in involving the shooting, and they arrested another 15yearold male juvenile. Reporter police would not say what led up to the shooting and what charges the 15year old boy basis. He was a student with great potential. We are deeply sorry and grieving his loss. Reporter anthony enjoyed playing soccer, and was a 10th grader at crossroads independent Study Program in newark. He transferred there last month after attending Newark Memorial High School last year. Is a district, we are doing everything we can to assist our students and their families. Here onsite, we will have additional counseling available every day as well as the safe space for students. Reporter because of privacy restrictions, police and student officials would not say if the juvenile in custody is also a student. Multiple generations of a family lived at the home. It is really sad to see a 15 yearold you knew taken away from their family so suddenly. Reporter with the 15year old boy in custody, please tell me there is no longer a Public Safety request. They are still asking anyone with information to come forward. The Sheriffs Department says deputies rescued two men who were trying to still pot from a marijuana grow operation over the weekend. The sheriff Department Says deputies used an armored squat vehicle to use the men to safety after one of them called for help. The two were reportedly confronted by several people at the gross site. The Sheriffs Department says one man was found bound and beaten. The second man suffered minor injuries. The suspects have not been found, but the grow operation has been eradicated. New developments today in an effort to obtain President Trumps tax returns, a federal judge ruled President Trump would have to release eight years of his returns. Manhattan da wants to see them as they investigate the trump organizations involvement in allegedly playing paying hush money to stormy daniels. However, the second u. S. Court of appeals immediately ordered a stay of that ruling, ending in an appeal. The white house argued the president is immune to such investigations. The Supreme Court may well step in on this, especially if the Second Circuit agrees with this federal trial judge down the line that the president is not entitled to this kind of broad immunity. A picture of a suspected arsonist wanted for setting fires outside of sunnyvale. We talked with several of the victors and more on what they told us. Reporter the image was taken from a surveillance camera. Police believe this man is responsible for setting more than a halfdozen fires in this area of sunnyvale. This melted cooler is just one of the items burned in nine separate porch fires in front of townhomes in sunnyvale that police say were set in a half hour period by an arsonist. We thought we left our barbecue on. When i ran out here, the firemen actually informed me that no, someone was going around the area and lighting fires. Reporter one married couples as on september 10th, they were awoken to find out their barbecue cover in front of their townhome had been lick lit on fire. The cover was totally disintegrated by the time we came outside. It is very frightening because there was a full propane tank in the barbecue. So if that would have caught on fire, it would have led to an explosion. There were children in the area. It is just very, all very violating. Reporter monday, please release this photo of a man police say is a suspected arsonist. Saying he started for fires. Around 12 45 in the morning on september 10th. The first call came in on the 400 block of toyama. There were several fighters in that area. An investigation, we did find somebody on camera, the suspect that was depicted in the photo. We are asking for the communitys help in identifying that person. Reporter while there was no structural damage or injuries, police say they remain concerned about the danger posed to residents. I am just confused why would someone take the time to do that, he just does not make any sense. Reporter sunnyvale Authorities Say at this point, there have not been any other arson fires they are aware of since that night. We visited several of the areas where fires were lit and talked to some people who say they recognize the man in that picture as one of their neighbors. They say he spoke with police the night of the fires. We reached out to police with a they are now investigating. Investigators say three people were injured in a fire in San Franciscos excelsior district this morning. It was first reported at 11 00 a. M. On vienna street. This is video now from citizen app. Investigators say the fire started in one house and quickly spread to the home next door. One resident suffered violent injuries, two other suffered minor injuries. There was no word yet on how the fire started. Fire crews working to contain a grass fire that burned more than 500 acres east of the American Canyon. You can see napa county, more than 160 firefighters are still on the scene. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. One out yielding was destroyed. The fire is now 80 contained. It was first reported along American Canyon road, west of interstate80 shortly after 3 15 yesterday afternoon, it grew quickly in hot temperatures and strong winds. The cause remains under investigation. It is only about 10 of santa rosa homes rebuilt since the 2017 fire, the second anniversary of the fire will cause a turn for the worse. Jim and luanne have been in the coffey park rebuilding process since two days after the fire two years ago tomorrow. Reporter julia, when a spare the air day is issued, everyone is encouraged to clean up their socalled environmental act. We found very little impact on our roadways when these alerts are issued. Its a spare the air day here in the bay area, meaning small pollution is high. The 19th one so far this year. We need people to take action every day, throughout the year, not just on spare the air days. Reporter lisa, with the bay area quality air district, says combating our pollution is a every day of the year efforts. The biggest offenders are drivers. Single occupancy vehicles. Reporter we asked caltrain to crunch some numbers. Compared to a tuesday in september, to a spare the air day, there was a 2 reduction in bridges. But wednesday, it showed a 1 increase. Neither number moving the needle much when it comes to traffic. As for bart, Officials Say the impact is tough to come down. To simply say this spare the air days have higher ridership, it is really difficult for us to determine. Reporter from 2004 to 2007, there was a program where riders could use bart for free during the first three spare the air days. The money for the driedup by the end of 2007. That is the Great Recession began and the state funding that paid for those spare the air free transit days was no longer available.
