That was after nancy pelosi announced the impeachment inquiry, and the Republican Party is asking supporters to donate to the official impeachment Defense Force and have already raised more than a million dollars. Political analysts this will galvanize republicans and democrats. We are at a point where these accusations against the president are serious. The probe puts pressure on moderate republicans in swing states who are up for reelection if theyre forced to take of vote on impeachment. Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard will be in the next debate, qualifying by receiving donations from at least 130,000 people and reaching at least 2 support in four recognized polls. There will be 12 candof the few candidates strongly opposed to impeachment, saying the process will be terribly devisive. British lawmakers are debating the decision by the British Supreme Court that Prime Minister Boris Johnson acted illegally by suspending parliament. The Health Department there says two people have already died from the flu, one adult and one child. It appears the flu season is starting earlier than usual. The cdc says 80 of people who died from the flu were not vaccinated. Health professionals recommend everyone six months and older to get the flu vaccine. Authorities in Santa Clara County today will announce a test to 911 service. Calling 911 is still the preferred way to get help but the text service is being rolled out for when a caller cant safely call or they are hearing or speech impaired. If pg e cuts power in your area, Smartphone Service may not last long, according to all five major wireless carriers in the state. A complaint was filed with the fcc. The companies have backup generators in place and mobile cell note works they can roll out to a hot spot during an emergency. But if a wildfire breaks out, all the carriers say they cant guarantee service. During the camp fire, 17 cell towers were destroyed, causing major problems. Supervisors have agreed to form a new superagency dedicated to improving fire safety, including everything from Vegetation Management to improving evacuation routes in the event of a fire emergency. We want to get people out first and foremost, protect their homes second, and third, create a landscape that tolerates fire. The county could put a parcel tax on the 2020 ballot to fund that superagency. Fire crews in the east bay are getting ready for potential wildfires, spending yesterday at tilledden park to slow down wildfires. Their goal is to eliminate anything that can fuel the flames. They are almost done with the first phase of the wildfire prevention project. After spending months in the classroom, the san josi Fire Departments new recruit started a new phase of training. Dozens of recruits were at the fire academys outdoor headquarters to take what they have learned from the books and use what they know in realistic drills out in the field. They are due to graduate from the fire academy on friday, october 4th. City leaders in Mountain View approved a new ban for oversize vehicles parked on residential streets. Reporter city leaders voted 43 to outlaw the parking of large vehicles on all residential streets and voted to ban parking on streets with bike lanes. The only places are these parks and wider industrial streets. The second highest concern, after the first one being waste and spills, the second highest one, we had about 1200 responses in january and it was obstruction of sight. Reporter residents call it a safety issue, rvs blocking their view of traffic. Over 200 people live in oversize vehicles in Mountain View. The ban would go into effect june 30th of next year. More transit buses run on broadway than any other street only lanes will reduce commute times for passengers by about 30 .
