Reconstruct one of the main runways, the airport reported 644 delays and 247 cancellations on saturday and sunday. There were delays and cancellations for other reasons but Officials Say the runway repair work caused each of them. 1900 feet of runway will be removed and a new base layer will be created below the surface. Sliding and drainage infrastructure will be replaced. The work is necessary, and travelers should expect delays from 30 minutes to three hours. This weekend, the faa reported delays up to four hours. It was found friday in oakland. A school staff member found the rope. It was tied at the top of a baseball batting cages which are above the school on City Property. School officials cut it down immediately and called the authorities. The fbi did come in and investigate. They determined that based on their standards, neither one was a hate crime. The first reported incident was three weeks ago. A rope resembling a noose was found hanging from the school o first incident was an accident. School districts are investigating all possibilities in this second incident. They have contacted and e mailed parents and there is a plan to hold a vigil against hate. The freemont city council will be decide willing to build the citys first homeless navigation center. The center will temporarily house Homeless People as they work toward finding permanent housing and jobs. The controversy is over the potential location of the navigation center.
