Can you . Not at all. Not even a trace of it this morning as the fog has socked us in. There are the the clouds that came rolling in. They kept us a little warmer, kind of insulated that heat of the day from escaping and cooling down. So we stayed warm. And we can see that in the effect of the temperatures right now. Especially if you look down to san jose, where it is 70 degrees right now, at 7 00 in the morning. 67 here in oakland. 59 in half moon bay. 54 in santa rosa. And right now, sitting at 66 degrees in napa. Good morning to you there. Our wind is relatively light here. You can see variable directions. Concord about 30 Miles Per Hour. Everybody else, kind of 10 miles or less. And this is what were expecting. The cloud cover finally pushing away. But those of you at the coast, clearing out. Thats going to keep it cooler. But youll notice, there are going to be some 90s inland. Its not going to be all coolness out there for everyone. I would say a little cooler today. But relatively speaking. This is the high were looking for. 72 degrees. But low 90s in santa rosa. About 93 in fairfield. 94 in concord. 91 in livermore. Morgan hill, youre also going to see the 90degree mark in hayward. You get the idea. If youre inland, youre still going to have the heat with you. But it wont be quite as bad as it has been. Speaking of heat and heating up and things getting going. If you can see, at the macarthur maze, its pretty slow here on 80 westbound. Its hard to see as kyla was talking about that fog. Kind of hard to believe that it will be sunny later. At least a mix of sun and clouds. This is a look at highway 4 pittsburgh, getting into concord. Its slow. No major issues on 680 as you drive from dublin to sunol anymore. But its slow from other issues. If you drive from dublin to san jose. That stretch is going to be tough. And northbound 101 is still slow from earlier problems approaching san jose. So is northbound 880. If youre going to the airport, you need extra time to navigate through that last mile. Getting close to san jose airport. Lets go back to the desk. Because it used to say dixie school elementary. Or dixie Elementary School, i should say. And all of this follows months of debate. And Public Comment and really years over a debate on whether or not the name of this school and the district should be changed. The former name of the School District used to be dixie School District. And this Elementary School was dixie elementary. Now, the board decided in july that they would change the name to miller Creek Elementary School district. And this Elementary School would be changed from dixie to lucas valley elementary. So a lot of fresh starts here this morning. A lot of fallies coming families coming in for the first day of school. And we just want to mention, all of this debate was over that name dixie. I feel like the email is trying to not really acknowledge the issues. There are several points in the email where she refers to it as a rope. If you look at the picture, it is clearly not a rope. It entirely possible that it was a noose. It is also entirely possible that it was not a noose. It was so haphazardly tossed on top of this fence that we dont know what it was. Many parents we talked with say they want to discuss the issue in a public forum. The district says it plans to hold just that type of meeting sometime next week. And it is now at 65 Miles Per Hour. Thats the latest National Hurricane center update. About 996 millibars of pressure. And it is slated to become a hurricane as it tracks to the north and west tomorrow. However, it then, after it gets out of the warm water into the cooler water, is expected to weaken. But the question becomes, you know, once it weakens and starts to dissipate, will any of that energy send a little tropical moisture our way . For some rain, wouldnt that be nice . Our last measurable rain was may 26th. We could certainly use it with the heat and the dry conditions we have now. Temperatures, though, were going to see things stay pretty warm or over the next five days. Today, a high of about 94 for inland communities. Heading into saturday, a little onshow flow comes in.
