I mean, ive gotten so many of those people who i think it will probably pass, right, the fad will pass maybe . Yeah. Good morning, everyone. This commute right now, gilroy to san jose, not a bad one. It looks pretty good. In fact, i was looking for the telltale sign of slow traffic in the area here and i dont see it, which is good. Roadwork sometimes we have some roadwork, we can push in a little bit, you can see on some of these freeways sometimes you see red. We dont see a lot of red. We just see a lot of green which is good driving up into san jose area. Mostly all good traffic, so if you get on the road early, you take advantage of that nice commute. Same here with 880 and 580, driving up to the bay bridge, a slight delay. This is maybe about a five to 10 minute delay before you make it onto the span, but thats about all. Hopefully it will stay nice and even. Yesterday was kind of a tough day, so maybe we will rebound with an easier day. 5 19. Lets go to steve. Its time to face the day. Face the day. On a nice, cooler day. But first we will head up to lake tahoe where its been a little on the hot side there. They had a rather cool summer for a while, and then lately temps have been bumping up again, getting into the 80s, reno has had a stretch of warm to hot weather but still looks good. Might be cooler here for the next couple of days, speaking of cooler, we will be there as well, forecast highs on the left, whats normal on the right and everyone is right where they should be or below. We have had inland temps that have been above, even the city above for three days in a row. Around the bay, though, we will see 60s on the coast, 70s to near 80 on the bay and san jose as well and then more 80s now through the interior after some about three or four days of 90s for many. Mainly lower, not setting any records but we are getting last very long. 60s, 70s and 80s, cooler inland today. It will take us into friday and then a little bump up on the weekend, but not a huge jump, just looks like temperatures will be pretty nice. Coastal fog, some of it is there. Theres a little local drizzle. Its more of the onshore wind which has been nonexistent, thats not the case now as the system finally in the Pacific Northwest deepens a little bit and thats allowing more of a westsouthwest instead of a northwest breeze. 50s, 60s on the temps there. 60 in redwood city. San jose in there, livermore as well. 57 in castro valley, 57 in berkley. A cool 52 in gilroy. 54 seems rather popular around so. Cal. , santa cruz mountains. Upper 50s, low 60s for many around santa clara, campbell, cupertino and saratoga. 52 at point reyes. Near average to a little below. Thats still cold water. Westsouthwest gusting to 29, almost 30 there in travis. 59 now ukiah to 65 sacramento, monterey at 57. Look for the low clouds today, but more again its just the high losing its grip so a little cooler air coming in aloft, more of a westsouthwest breeze equals a kickout of that high for a couple of days and thats going to allow temperatures to cool off for today into tomorrow and then warmer going into the weekend. 60s, 70s, 80s on your temps. Still some areas in the upper 80s. Majority will go into the 80s here today. 60s, 70s on the coast with a lot of 60s, santa cruz at 72. Coolest day friday, still looks pretty good on the weekend, pam, just gradual warming. Thank you, steve. 5 21 is the time right now. Still ahead, what the president had to say about that and the condemning chants during a rally just hours after an important vote. We do have traffic that is going to be doing fine on bay area bridges like this one, the san mateo bridge heading to the peninsula. Ula. Different pattern here today. We have been on hold here for the last three days. 90s inland but looks like today they will come down with more of an onshore breeze, little bit of fog out there. Theres no such thing so start driving and dont stop. Because no one takes off at the finish line. And the only way to get that trophy, is to take it. Net generation. This time of year, you can hang your hat on whats going on with the wind direction out at fairfield. Yesterday was another day with 90s. Ukiah 95, livermore, concord in there, and morgan hill eked out a 91 which was warmer than gilroy. Yesterday was a warm one for many. The city just shy of 70, although there were some 70 degree readings but today everyone is heading down from 87 santa rosa to 81, 63 in the city, 92 livermore to 84 and san jose 85 to 80 degrees. We have had low clouds the last couple of mornings but didnt last very long and cleared out rapidly. I think today it will be more of the onshore breeze, getting in cooler air aloft knocking down that inversion,ea so that onshore breeze to pick up, 50s, 60s on the temps around the bay. 50s for many, up in the Oakland Berkley hills, 50 to 57, 54 oakland hills, above the caldecott. West south wind gusting to almost 30 out at travis, which, by the way, hit 97 yesterday with a north wind. So look for cooler pattern today, it will be nice little breeze behind that. Next couple of days will favor cooler conditions. 5 31. What would you like to get to first . Steve, we are going to start with antioch, one of the roads that leads to the highway 4 has been closed because of a deadly crash that happened at about 1 00 this morning. We have a crew on the scene here. This is buchanan at near contra loma boulevard. Its closed. Its buchanan and balboa court and this vehicle, single vehicle accident resulted in a death earlier this morning. Antioch police are here. There have been no major closures of highway 4. Highway 4 still doing okay. Contra loma boulevard near by is open as well but you cant make a left or right onto contra loma and we still have the vehicle lodged into that tree. Put it up here on a map to show you where it is in relation to highway 4. Its right there on buchanan street near the court. So contra loma boulevard traffic is getting to highway 4. Talk about Solano County right now. You can see traffic is a little slow on 37, but 80 looks good into hercules, macarthur bridge, 18 minute drive. 5 32. Lets go back to the desk.
