Suite summertime. There are moments in life that leave a lasting impression. Like the feeling of movement as a new journey begins, or the sight of soft fur, warmed by the morning sun. You might remember new flavours, or a view that defies all expectations. These are the memories that stay with you, long after the moments have passed. International bird rescue in fairfield is looking for people to help raise nearly 100 orphaned birds. Those birds were said last week after a tree they were investing in collapsed. Outside an oakland post office. There were 50 nests in the tree containing 89 young birds, and eggs. Any are in need of roundthe clock care, and feeding. This is in addition to the more than 200 waterbirds already being cared for at the wildlife hospital. The bird rescue group says it needs donations and volunteers. We could absolutely use some additional volunteer support. People who are willing to help clean up cages, serve the food up, the basic stuff that allows our more experienced volunteers to do direct care. Anyone who comes here is going to be up close and personal with the birds. The rescue center says the birds chances of survival are pretty good, but it will be a day by day battle. Can you imagine that many birds and one tree and the tree collapses and they are left with all of these . The birds are okay. All right. Lets talk about the weather, bringing in our chief meteorologist. Just another spectacular day, but the fog is coming in . It has been a good run, temperatures it has not been a heat wave, but it has been average or below, just below average temperature wise, not a high fire danger. These are the highs today, 97 in fairfield, that is very warm. 93 in santa rosa, those are the warm spot, concord, 92, you can take fairfield, you can probably take 10 degrees tomorrow, temperatures are going to go that much as a weather system comes down from up here, cool things off a little bit. And when that happens, youre going to see temperatures come out of the 80s and 90s where they were today and into the 60s, 70s, and mid and low 80s. So, interesting pattern for sure. This pattern has been repeating itself. This is not a typical summer pattern you expect when you get a low like this, the low is displacing the high. It sits at here most of the summer, typically, it is the cold water that allows it to exist, and the air sinks and grades this big room, it gives us our classic summer pattern with fog at the coast and the microclimates that shoot through the bay. It will happen for a little bit like a day or two, but then it just sort of, you know, changes. The pattern shifts. That pattern typically hold all summer, it is not often that we see change after change after change as we have the last few years. There is the fog in the Richmond District right now in San Francisco. There are the current high temperatures, 92 in fairfield, 90 in concord, 85 in livermore, there is the fog, there is the golden gate bridge, you can see it get press, it is beautiful when it does that. The onshore flow the fog is getting funneled up through here and pressed, when it gets to the other side, see how it syncs . It goes away, and gets pushed up over the next one and sinks again. You know, you see those wave formations all the time. It is fun to see. So, with that we look for temperatures tomorrow to be cooler. Significantly cooler. Instead of 97 inland, mid80s, inland. At the coast you are in the upper 50s, the 60s. It is all because of that shallow marine layer that is getting mixed out, it will be deep right through the weekend. 85 in vacaville tomorrow, 84 in fairfield, that is a big drop off from today, 10 degrees cooler in those inland valleys. You will notice it. Fire danger will take a rest, and air quality will get a little bit better. Recast, look at these numbers. Look at friday, how cool that is. That is the warm spot, 84, it warms up a little bit on saturday and sunday. But still on the mild side, we will see you back here. Thank you. As the backup catcher, buster gets his fourth, the giants into the lead, tied again in the sixth, another newcomer, Donovan Solano had four hits today, one of them left the yard, the giants were in the lead for good, that is working out pretty well, he had three hits, rbi single here, 118 is the final. Get this there are only two games under 500. Like i said they as every bit as hot, not a big a surprise, you know what . They will take it, as they take care of the seattle mariners. This afternoon. Bailey in his first start with the ace, as they pick him up from kansas city, six innings, they gave up only two runs, had to send some help out in left field. 13 homers, getting a lot of playing time because of the injury, first of two home runs for him, his 14th and 15th today, there are his fans. I love his fan. Me too. You have to see this catch. He does this once or twice a week, that is sensational. Take another look. The glove is up there, blindly tim beckham is just a little frustrated for the mariners. I cannot blame him. He comes up in the very next inning, the bottom half of the inning, actually. He deposits one, and get this, the as have now homered in 17 straight games , 102 is the final, they are just blasting people game after game, one sided affairs. Finish that up.
