Now, last right night, we heard the first group touch on some of the biggest issues facing the country. Including gun control and healthcare. The debates in miami are an opportunity for some of the lesserknown to get attention. We can talk about climate, guns, all of these issues that we all care about. We have a perception problem with the Democratic Party. We are not connecting to the working class people. And the very stage that i represent in ohio, in the industrial midwest. I know the importance of our national security. As well as the terribly high cost of war. Gime change war to next. Now, the debates are spread the 10 candidates for each night chosen at random. The first night had mostly lowertier contenders, except for senator elizabeth warren, who has seen her poll rising. Warren explains why she needs universal healthcare. I spent a good chunk of my life, studying why family goes broke. And one of the number 1 reasons is the cost of healthcare. Medical bills. And thats not just for people who dont have insurance. Its for people who have insurance. Now, tonights debate will include the front runners. Joe biden, and Bernie Sanders at center stage. Along with pete buttigieg, kamala harris. John hickenlooper. And andrew yang. Plus, some lesserknown candidates like author marianne williamson. And michael bennet. Political analyst brian stoble stopped by to give his insight on how the candidates held up on stage. And he tells us, one stuck out the most last night. Again, i think warren scored some points on the economy. She had a passion tonight that stood out. Which i think most pundits thought she would, given that the field is not hate to say it, as strong as it will be tomorrow night. Some others, a little stiff, hung back a little too much. But thats the nature of this form at. Now, sobel went on to say that although sanders was not at last nights debate, his presence was felt as they seemed to take a more progressive tone. The Trump Administration says it needs to ask if they are american citizens in order. Critics say it will discourage some from filling out the paper. Its not about a line on a form. Its about whether or not everyone in america counts. You want to know who is in this country. I think as a sovereign nation. We have that right. Its been a question that has been on the census for decades. A Citizenship Question has not been included since 1950. And a ruling today, expected because the questionnaires need to be printed out, before the start of the census in april 2020. Chief Justice John Robert could be the one to issue that ruling. And another highprofile could be the gerrymandering. Again, were expecting a decision from the high court around 7 00. Or a little just after that time. And we know that Alameda County leaders and allies of immigrant communities are already planning to rally in response to the ruling, whatever it may be. That will happen on the steps of the Alameda County superior courthouse. Live at noon. Thank you, cri stinna. Another day for the boeing 737 max jets.
