Henry lee tells us the suspect has been charged with two counts of murders with a special circumstance that could bring the death penalty. Reporter Malik Dosouqi is now charged with capital murder for allegedly killing two men in the same spot along skyline boulevard in san mateo county. While investigators say they know who is responsible, they do not know why this happened. So far we have not found a connection between these three men in any fashion. It may just be random killer, for the motive of killing. Reporter the District Attorney has charged him with two counts of murder any special circumstance of allegedly committing more than one murder. He says Malik Dosouqis mental status could come into play. We know colloquially from talking with people he was certainly strange and had issues. Reporter on tuesday night a sheriffs deputy found the body of Abdulmalek Nasher along highway 35 after the suspect apparently requested a ride. I heard the suspect fled the scene only to return to the same spot 24 hours later as detectives were combing the area for evidence. Iver John Sione Pekipaki, he soon died at the scene. Authorities say the suspect drove a bmw toward detectives, prompting them to open fire. The suspect crashed and was arrested. Earlier in the evening, he called specialty toe in East Palo Alto after other companies told him they had no trucks available. He called requesting a tow truck saying that his car had broken down up there. He was very nice, very polite he sounded normal. Reporter she says the Company Ended up sending John Sione Pekipaki. We didnt even know that john was going up there. He was offered the call and was available, so otherwise we would have sent somebody else. It could have been anybody. But literally it could have been anybody. We are excited to be doing something to alleviate the impact on the residents of east oakland as well as to improve the safety, security and hygiene for our neighbors who due to this housing crisis are forced to live in these rvs up. Reporter the plan is to expand to as many as 50 rvs. Only rvs have been camped on 85th and eaves avenues will be invited to move into the lot which should alleviate problems for the neighborhood. We do not find it acceptable for people to use our sidewalks as trash cans, to put their ross human waste into our storm drain system. Reporter after an unspecified time rvs will be banned from parking overnight in the neighborhood. But one man who works near the newly opened rv lot and who asked us not to show his face wonders if the city is just axing a problem in one area by creating a new one in another place. Theres always going to be a percentage of the population involved in drugs. My concern is that as it gets populated, those activities will spill over to the surrounding areas.
