The park did point out they had no reports of illnesses caused by the lake water, but today they did issue a cautionary advisory, it is a yellow light that means toxins are present in the water and it doesnt meet state standards. The beach is open but there is an increased risk. This is what one of those signs of a post look like what it says caution right there. You can find it online if you want to go out to the lake and check the advisory beforehand. Great information, but you did mention that april sewage spell that flowed for five days, do we know why it took so long to clean up . That is the city of oakland responsibility and they told us it was in a remote area where they cannot get trucks and heavy machinery of their sitting edited by hand and it took five days for them to be able to repair the pipe and stop the flow of sewage. That recipe, combined with the dwindling pharisees from light rail creates too many challenges for the system. They have systemic problems that i think are in part due to the rail system. That make it extraordinarily difficult for them to have moved into a more efficient operating rail system. This is what we all have to step up and really dig down and figure out what can we do to solve problems . The board has 90 days to respond to the civil grand jury report.
