Skyline boulevard. Now the second victim was found late last night. The Sheriffs Office says investigators came back to the scene of the first homicide on skyline boulevard around 11 00 p. M. To search for more evidence. Thats when they discovered the second victim just before midnight. They heard him calling for help. He was on the ground with stab wounds and later died. Around the same time, deputies say they saw another man driving away. He was believed to be a suspect. Deputies say he was driving towards the victim. The man wasnt hit by gunfire but crashed into a ditch. He was arrested and taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries. The Sheriffs Office said a deputy was at an unrelated call on west skyline boulevard and found the body of 32yearold abdul malik nashir. Its scary. Police are hoping Surveillance Video in the area will give them more clarity in the investigation. The chp is investigating two more freeway shootings in the bay area. Investigators received a report of several shots being fired at a car heading southbound on 680 near king road around 8 30 last night. A 12yearold girl in the car was hurt by broken glass. The chp still working to get an accurate description of the car. The second shooting happened in los gatos on transition northbound 85. His car came into contact with another car and heard a thud. When the man arrived home he noticed damage to his car and called chp. Officers determined the damage was a bullet hole. There have been 5 different freeway shootings across the bay area in just the past few days. On saturday, a man died after being shot on interstate 80 and sunday night two people were shot inside the kaldicot tunnel. And that makes 5 shootings in four days. In total two people have died, three others were hurt. We asked chp if drivers should be worried. We dont have any information right now that sdugs that the general ub suggests that the general public should be concerned or at an elevated risk while driving on the freeways. The number of shootings has increased in recent years. Though we asked the chp says that it has investigated at least 190 bay area freeway shootings since november of 2015.
