Police say the killing is likely related to a homicide in the same area two nights ago. Skyline is shut down between sweat road and reeds roost road as the investigation is still under way. Authorities have not disclosed the cause of death but based on his injuries gnashir was a victim of a homicide. Deputies are asking anyone with information about the case to come forward. We have some developing news out of santa clara county. Investigators received reports of several shots being fired at a car headed southbound near king street at about 8 30 last night. No one was directly hit by gunfire but a 12yearold girl in the car was hurt by broken glass. The chp is still working to an e suspects car. The second shooting happened on southbound highway 17 at los gatos. The chp received a report from a driver who said his car quote came into contact with another car and he herd a thud. When the man arrived home he noticed damage to his car and called the chp. No one was hurt in that incident and no freeways were shut down during the investigations. Now there have been five different shootings in the bay area over the past few days. Then on sunday night, two people were shot inside the coldicot tunnel. Theyre recovering from their injuries. Along the malpitas san jose boundary. Two people have died. Three were hurt in those shootings and we asked chp if drivers should be worried. We dont have any information right now tha the generalpublict an elevated level of risk while driving on the freeways. The chp says the number of freeway shootings has increased in recent years. We couldnt get a detailed report on the numbers for this year. But the chp has investigated at least 190 freeway shootings since november 2018. 11 people have died in those incidents. Ktvus jesse gary reports google says it wants to be a good neighbor. Googles search to make a sizable impact in the housing shortage led to a blog post tuesday by ceo. Our responsibility starts at home. Were announcing an additional 1 billion investment in housing across the bay area. As an addon to the current agreement with the city that calls for 25 of the housing in the fourth coming google village to be deemed Affordable Housing. The new 10year plan calls for 750 million of google commercial land rezoned for residential use allowing for the construction of 15,000 units of housing across all income levels.
