New information on the Richland Police officer who was hit by car while trying to break up a large sideshow early yesterday morning. That officer is recovering at home tonight after being treated for head trauma and other less serious injuries. Cell phone video shows a black sedan speeding up and slamming into the Police Officer was standing in the street. Using an automobile that is traveling at a high speed to hit another person, then the automobile is a deadly weapon. A serious injury or dealt death can result. Police arrested two teenagers who they say its the damage cars and reported it stolen. They say 18yearold juan vargas was behind the wheel and he is facing charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. His girlfriend was also arrested on conspiracy charges. The california Highway Patrol said they arrested a man who was shining a laser at a chp helicopter during another sideshow in oakland. The chp released aerial footage of that sideshow involving about 200 vehicles. The chopper was able to track other person that was using the laser, and then officers on the ground took him into custody. He is only identified as a 24 yearold man from pittsburgh and is facing felony charges and could be fine 11,000 per laser strike. A man accused of speeding in a stolen truck and then crashing and killing two young girls appear before a judge today. Our Crime Reporter tells us the little girls father was also there in court wearing a shirt with the pictures of his daughters on it. Reporter Jesus Cordova cardoza and his family had nothing to say. He was wearing pictures of his daughter and got his first look at the man who was accused of killing them. Noe saucedo pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder. His Attorney Says that noe saucedo will be cleared of the charges. I know it is a horrible tragedy of what happened, and he is tore up about it, but i think at the end of the day i think he will be exonerated of all these charges. Reporter Authorities Say noe saucedo was trying to get away from a deputy when he ran a red light in the stolen truck and plowed into a truck driven by the girls mother. 2yearold Camila Cardoza on the left, and her sister Lenexy Cardoza were killed. When you commit an act that you know is dangerous to human life, and you do it anyway, you have a conscious disregard for human life, and that is an avenue of implied malice, which is one of the ways that you get to murder. Reporter the circumstances of the case will almost certainly lead to a conviction. The fact that he was evading police and the fact that he was driving at excessive speeds and the fact that he killed two human beings all adds up to a 2nd degree murder charge. Reporter noe saucedo will be back in court next month. He is in jail right now with his bail set at more than 2 million. San Francisco Police are investigating a shooting that wounded two people this afternoon. It happened around 2 30 pm in the cities bayview district. Sky fox flew over the area and Police Actually heard the shots fired and responded to the scene and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Their condition is not immediately available and so far no suspects have been taken into custody. Police have released very Little Information so far. Hayward police are asking for the Publics Health after arresting a convicted sex offender accused of posing as a youth eskimo coach. Melvin fleming was arrested after the parents of a student became suspicious of his offer to give his son basketball lessons. Our reporter is outside of the Hayward Police department and the rest actually took place at the school. Reporter paris started doing a little bit of digging, and that is when they contacted the hayward lease department, and they were waiting for him when he came to the basketball game at the school. Reporter Hayward Police people are putting together a timeline of events. Investigators say they were first turned on to the story by a childs parent. We were notified by a parent that they had come in contact with a person who had said they wanted to coach their son in some private lessons. Reporter that is when the man said his name was melvin allen. The parents met this individual and something did not seem right. The person said i am going to be going to a game friday evening. Reporter what was suspicious about the man story was that a parent decided to do some research into melvin allen. The parent came back home and did an internet search of this person and found that he was a convicted sex offender. And that is when the parent contacted police and said that lemming was going to be coming to their sons basketball game on friday evening. What fleming did not know is that there was going to be much more waiting for him at the school. We had several Police Officers at the gym and placed him into custody. Reporter police say fleming did nothing with the child, but should have never been around the child because he did not inform administrators that he was a registered sex offender and did not tell the parents either. If parents ever feel that something is not quite right especially if it has to do with the child were someone is contacting them or trying to do something, that they do diligence. Reporter so how did they know that melvin allen was Melvin Fleming . It turned out that fleming had a well publicized arrest last year and was arrested on similar charges while teaching basketball lessons. This has Hayward Police department very concerned and anyone who came in contact with them to contact the police department. We have new information tonight on a plane crash that killed one person in concorde today. The faa said the plane crashed shortly after taking off from the canon field at about 10 30 am this morning. A spokesperson said only the pilot was on board despite initial report that said that two people were on board. It crashed near the airport on the former site of the Concord Naval weapons station. The faa is investigating the cause of the crash and at this point the pilot has not been identified. The chp chased the driver through three counties before taking that man into custody. He came to an end at about 9 30 am this morning. The chp said officers tried to stop the chevy pickup on westbound 80 near the toll plaza for passing on the shoulder. The chase went into San Francisco and continued southbound on highway 101. The driver was taken into custody in hayward after a pit maneuver. Failure to yield is bad at any point. This woman just left work and got into her car, and that is when she noticed a stranger sitting in her backseat. Our reporter spoke with that woman and said the entire ordeal has left her shaken. Police have arrested two teenagers involved in a hitand run accident that sent a Richland Police officer to a hospital.
