The Hayward Fire Department was called out around 11 8 00 yesterday morning around 11 a clock 11 00 yesterday morning and dozens of people had no running water. It was unclear if service has been restored to everyone. One neighbor i was able to speak with said he did have his water restored last night. I just spoke with one neighbor who described what he saw and heard as his water main rushed through. It was like a loud burst, and then water pressure was low. I cannot to see if my neighbors had water, then i saw hayward water systems, truck was trying to shut off valves. And fire trucks, and basically there was like a river of water flowing down. It is unclear how Many Properties in this neighborhood may have been impacted as the water and debris flow down the street. We have reached out or are trying to reach out this morning to the hayward public works department. For more information on the rake itself and the repair work that needs to happen, it is quite clear a lot of work still has to be done here to repair the street. The victim had to be airlifted to the hospital using a medical helicopter. Firefighters transfer the victim onto a stretcher and transferred him to a medical helicopter a short distance away on deer valley. The shooting happened on the terrace view drive. We do not know the extent of the victims injuries or the persons condition this morning, but as you can see from the video, we know police spent the evening gathering evidence for their investigation and collecting some evidence right here on the street. A man from santa clara died after firefighters rescued him from a burning condominium building. Fire crews were called to the complex on clyde avenue early yesterday morning. The Contra Costa Sheriffs Office released two images they are hoping to identify and track down a suspect and a robbery at a tanning salon. The girl scouts in San Francisco picked up a whopping 150,000 boxes of cookies to begin selling today. For the past two decades Girl Scout Cookies have been stored at the San FranciscoMarin Food Bank were three truckloads were dropped off last week. 1000 girl scouts helped with the pickup process over the weekend and received their cookies.
