His cousin is the last Family Member who knew him in life. I was not alive when he was. He was a very outgoing person. Reporter leonard joined the army at 22 years old. On july 20, he was sent to south korea to defend the city. It is believed just after five days of entering south korea, James Leonard was killed in action. He is behind the lines. Leonards body was never found despite multiple searches. In the spring of 2017, a construction road crew discovered teeth. 11 a lab in hawaii positively identified him. After that many years, they finally found him. They never gave up hope. The army flew him home with full military honors. It is a homecoming that vinyl he ended a families long anguishing mystery.
