Rob malcolm said among the allegations, claims of unsafe conditions for pregnant inmates and also that one woman gave birth in herself alone. Reporter the allegations heard on the front steps outside the Alameda CountySheriffs Office by two former female inmates and their lawyers were so horrific and pointed that the Sheriffs Office responded quickly. We take these allegations very seriously. Your hurtful and we dont believe they are true. Reporter two former inmates and their attorneys claim the officials at the santa rita jail engaged in barbaric, systematic behavior that denied female inmates medical attention, warm clothes, regular meals and worse. With the sheriff has been doing is either trying to pressure women into getting abortions or treating them in such a way that it imperils the health of their fetuses. Once women do come into our facility they are seen within a couple days to several days depending on whether its the weekend or not. Reporter cepeda also claim bowel pregnant and transport issues handcuffed in the back and out the front which is protocol. This is the kind of inhumane barbaric treatment that goes on and what we are seeking is to stop it and force the sheriff to obey state law. Reporter a visibly angry Sergeant Kelly rated how committed the jail step is to its female anger inmates. We stand to mitigate any false claim, especially one as egregious as the one that is alleged here. Reporter rob malcolm, ktvu fox 2 news. He turns around and walks out the door. Or, theoretically, could walk out the door. But as he takes a step toward the door, the feds will be there. The feds will grab him. The earthquake Early Warning system sounded its alert moments before the ground started shaking but because the epicenter was in berkeley, the warning time was limited. The further seismic waves travel, the longer the warning time. People in berkeley would not have received the warning because the earthquake was right beneath berkeley. People in oakland would receive a short warning. In San Francisco about three seconds. Even with a second or two of warning, if everybody gets the warning, everybody gets under a sturdy table, we estimate we can half the number of injuries and an earthquake. Local cannabis clubs do not think the white house opposition to the sale of Legal Marijuana will hurt sales in california. U. S. Attorney general Jeff Sessions rescinded a policy that was set up by the Obama Administration that discouraged the federal government from interfering with states that have legalized marijuana. Sessions said he believes marijuana is a gateway drug that leads to more crime and violence. Our system to the west will not be remotely close to that although next tuesday it does look impressive for us. Nothing like that but it could be our best rain of the season. This would not be. This system will bring in some rain and for the Russian River area in Prosser Marin county come this could be a steady rain that just keeps going. For others maybe a little rain. Mostly cloudy today. This will also be a decent setup for the Santa Cruz Mountains. This is very mild. We had a south breeze yesterday. The submit latitude system. This does not have any cold air. This will not help the sierra. 58 in vallejo. Even spots that are usually very cold or warm. 57 and 58 seems popular. For us we will see off and on rain. It will pick up later today as the system taps into the moisture. As it gets closer, it enhances the rainfall. Not a lot out of this, a couple one hundredths for some it may be a quarter inch to a third of an inch for others. Isolated areas may receive a halfinch. That system on tuesday, do not be surprised if we see 23 inches from that one. Very mild for some. We are starting in the upper 50s. It wont take much to get to the mid and upper 60s. Clouds and rain today and we carry that into tonight and maybe early saturday. I would prepare for rain and wind on tuesday. It looks like a good one.
