Lets go back to the desk. A Homicide Investigation in san jose is underway after a man was shot and killed on a high school campus. It happened out pleasant high school. Police rush there at about 7 00 yesterday morning thats when they found the body. Police found the body inside and entrance to that school. The classes went on as scheduled. Police have increased patrols around the campus. We dont have any suspect information at this time. We want to assure staff and students that we have officers on campus. The name of the man has not been released. Police say the body is not a student or staff member. Police said they have made an arrest in a shooting that critically injured two people in the parking lot of a target store in emeryville. Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was found in the target parking lot near an suv. The suv has bullet holes and in the drivers side door and window. The second shooting victim was found nearby at a home depot store. Someone at the home depot call for help. Police did not release the name of the person in custody or provide further details. No one inside the target store was involved in the shooting and no one was injured there. Target released a statement saying, quote, the company is committed to safety and as part of this commitment we have robust procedures, policies, and trainings in place to ensure that our stores are safe places to shop and work. The two men charged in oaklands deadly ghost ship warehouse fire are due in court today. The hearing for both was postponed from its scheduled date on monday. Both are charged with 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter. During todays hearing the judge will decide if there is enough evidence to go to trial. It is expected to last a week and includes testimony from former tenants of the ghost ship warehouse and also Law Enforcement investigators. And Nationals Park chain is taking steps to protect its customers after several complaints of Sexual Assaults. A San Francisco supervisor is looking to expand legislation that requires many businesses in the city to make single stall restrooms gender neutral. Supervisor Hillary Ronan will asked today to expand the requirements to include hotels and a single room occupancy hotels. The sro provides mostly low Income Housing to about five percent of the citys population. They often provide shared toilet and bathing facilities. In oakland a new type of shelter is open for people who have been living on the streets. The city opened the village of 20 shelters set up on a vacant lot and in west oakland. San Francisco Mayor ed lee has introduced legislation to create three more Navigation Centers for Homeless People in the city.
