In some neighborhoods, trees are down and blocking roads. Good evening, everyone. High winds brought down a large tree limb on to a house in emeryville today. The large branch landed on top of a home at 47th street. The homeowner was outside at the time and saw the tree coming down. I was sitting in the car getting ready to get out and i heard this noise like something was cracking and then i turned and looked at my house and saw the tree falling. The homeowner valerie majors tells us she lost power and cable service, but there was no substantial damage to her house. In the north bay, the high winds brought down a largeeucalyptus tree that took out some powerlines when it fell over.
