Reporter yeah. Good morning to all of you. And the homeowners hearsay that the city didnt do enough to notify them before selling off their private street two years ago. Presidio terrace was sold at auction after the Homeowners Association failed for years to pay property taxes on this small street, the sidewalks, and the common areas in this exclusive San Francisco neighborhood. This is Presidio Heights. A couple from san jose paid 90,000 for the private street, which is lined with multi Million Dollar homes. The city says for 30 years, the Homeowners Association failed to pay a 14 annual property tax bill for the street, which is a separate lot. The Homeowners Association says those tax bills went unpaid because they were all being mailed to the address of a retired accountant. Had the homeowners had an opportunity to take part in the sale or to know about it, if there was a notice posted, if the required effort had been made, and it wasnt, they would have been able to solve this. Reporter the hoa also claims that the notice of sale for their private street had been returned as undeliverable by the postal service.
