One thing in common those a are private versus public schools. What is going on there . A charter or private school, they were a magnet for families who were less likely to vaccinate. Those schools are friendly to those kind of families. What is what are we to do . The state of california is acting, the medical board is acting on several complaints. One thing is, the medical board is working on this. Another thing we can do to make the job easier, we can enforce the laws, the law says that the doctors writing the exemption should state the specific nature that allows the exemption, but the Health Department regulation does not require them to say specific condition. And it is easier for doctors to give those exemptions. We should require them to have the specifics. The medical board could have a presumption that some presumptions exemptions are flawed under fate. Some family members with autism, type one diabetes, none of these are reasons not to a vaccinate. Children with diabetes need vaccinations more. Something some countries are doing, santa barbara, they are investigating medical exemptions and theyre asking for schools to theyre looking to see if there is a certain path of doctors giving the exemptions. A black sedan pulled up next to the group and a passenger got out of their car. After a short argument, the passenger opened fire shooting the 17yearold multiple times. The victim was able to run behind a visit and hopped offense where he landed on school property. We understand a janitor was one of the first people to see this victim and call for help. The teen was rushed to a hospital, but did not survive. We have no information and believe this was gangrelated. We have no reason to believe it was connected to the school.
