They have to pay and occupancy tax just like a hotel. Shortterm rentals on properties that are rented out for less than a month. The new ordinance limits the number of people that can stay in the unit the property is ineligible for special event permits. The initial registration cost is 100 the annual renewal fee is 50. They will watch the parade of ships in the air show. The parade of ships gets underway at around 11 am. As they make their way under the golden gate. The fire boat, st. Francis, will be the first one under the bridge at 11. The air show gets underway at noon. It runs until 4 00 pretty exciting stuff the blue angels will take to the air later. This is just the beginning for the weekend. There will be ship tours at peers 35, 17, 32 and 50. If you take a look back at the live shot, you can see the golden gate. That is where we expect Leigh Martinez and her photographer to come in later. We will waive to them as they come in. I dont think they will see me.
