Witnesses say the shooter came up in his car, started shooting at the officers and left the scene. We went inside and the place was like something on tv. Furniture shot up, bullet holes in the walls. Federal, state and local Law Enforcement agencies are all working this case, the president has also been briefed on this situation. Police called to a scene after being on routine patrol at 2 30 this morning. They arrived and saw a tan mazda suv parked on the grassy area of the Social Security administration building. When officers approached they saw a man in his 40s with visible injuries. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, died a short time later. Investigators say the man had been shot. That person was immediately transported to a local area hospital where it was discovered that he was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. That person later was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Homicide investigators are on scene now, right now we currently dont have a motive. It remains unclear if the man was shot where he was found or someone else. Police say the gunman remains on the loose, no description was provided but if you have information give San Jose Police a call. Arson investigators are trying to figure out what started a large fire at a work yard in pittsburg this morning. Flames burned through piles of wooden palettes before 3 00 a. M. Theres a power line that was across one of the fences so we had to wait for pg e to get here to completely deenergize that power line to our crews were safe. In San Ramon Police say a woman was hit and killed by a pickup truck when she tried to cross the street against a red light. It happened last night at dougherty and red willow roads. Two people in custody after a High Speed Pursuit across the east bay. 10 00 last night the Alameda County sheriffs deputies chased the suspect through castor valley and san lorenzo, until speeds exceeded 100 miles per hour.
