Nice to mayo today. Bright . Yeah. Luckily the weather opened up beautifully for cinco de on saturday. It did. Then the skies opened up. You can see its clear sailing or whatever you want fly. And today, yes, saturday was a rough one for sure. Kinda felt like march or february. It was cold, windy and wet. And we saw abou our entire months worth of rainfall from a in just a few hours early. So it was something. But we cleared out yesterday and today were staying that way. Little bit breezy out there and definitely chilly on this clear morning. Got the cruise ship pulled up there at the embarcadero on such a cool start to the day. Look at some of these temperatures. In fact, earlier this morning, a few for coastal spots fill into the 30s pacifica and point raise down in the 30s earlier point race is still there. Most of us are starting to see temperatures rise now. And thats due to just how clear it is out there. Temperatures in the mid to upper 60s this afternoon. Very similar to where we were yesterday. Ill be talking gradually warming temperatures in the rest of the forecast. Still ahead, Michael Thomas in for a this morning on the hey, good morning, everyone. Happy monday. They are crawfords will trend on the story for us live from burlingame, which i assume is one of those places these cars are headed well. Its one of those places. The other places include coleman millbrae South San Francisco daly city. They are heavy way more south to the peninsula and eventually possibly into Santa Clara County as well. A lot of people are pushing back, but ultimately the California PublicUtilities Commission as well as the dmv, they gave the green light to waymo to expand into semi chaos. San mateo county and the peninsula. Heres the reason why they are doing this because they want to obviously expand their services. Its basically a global company. What they want to do is reach down into the peninsula, possibly all the way into Santa Clara County without having a driver. Thats the problem with san mateo county. As far as a couple of supervisors, i spoke to one supervisor and he did not want that to happen because he said imagine hopping into a car that he already deems not safe and then its going to go freeway speed down to the peninsula. But thats whats going to happen. Waymo they know all the complaints, but they still will go ahead with this. This will happen over the next several weeks. Not sure exactly when that will happen as far as the peninsula. But when it does, james and we do know its employees only they will monitor the situation. And after that, if it goes well, theres a good chance. Im sure that it will expand to the public waymo just facing a lot of controversy. Not just in. The bay area, but all across california as well. Phoenix, arizona, theyre dealing with way more problems as well as the Technology Wave will actually recalled some other services recently to look at their software. They think theyre good to go now and again, this will happen in the peninsula. Dont be surprised to see a driverless car going down here and you cannot flag it down. Of course, youll have to put it on your app and then get it. But again, have to be an employee, at least at the very beginning. Back to you. All right. Thanks a lot. Well the time now is 804.
