His employer telling me he hasnt been responsive since the accident. San Francisco Police say early sunday morning around 03 00am near to pass avenue in guerrero street. They found a man that was unconscious and lying on the ground with no identification. He would soon be identified as his sous mizzou deo. He had been hit by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter with the driver and vehicle fleeing the scene. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and has been listed under Critical Condition ever since. Where is he headed . Well into his 3 m shifted bobs donuts and he was wearing his uniform when he was hit. You know, and thats the stories since created a gofundme account and has the flyers posted all throughout its windows where worked . They say he was the sole provider for both his wife and 2 young kids, ages 3, 5 that live in mexico. And his family still hasnt been able to see him in the hospital because of visa paperwork. This fight between the mayors Security Guard in san jose and a man who wandered up and seemed to be a threatening and acting erratically. This was in the middle of an interview was one of our kron, 4 crews that this happened. And let me just tell you about the way it went down. A San Jose Police say it started with the man acting erratically towards the mayor and the staff. Andy grew hostile. You can see the guard. Theyre trying to deescalate the mayors security detail tried several times, but then the man became agitated and actually hit the officer and then several bystanders help to detain. The man was eventually taken into custody. The officer was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. And now that man is facing several charges, including felony battery on a police officer. Well, police right now are investigating assault that took place at u c berkeley last night. Police responded to a reported this assault on University Drive right near the crescent lawn on campus. You see that on the map. The report says that a woman sprayed the victim with a liquid and then hit the individual over the head with a hard object. The attackers then fled the scene in a dark colored older european sedan. No word on the condition of the victim yet this morning. But well update you when we find out. Meanwhile, a Memorial Service for fallen Oakland Police officer jordan wingate is set for this coming friday. Officer wingate died saturday from injuries he suffered in a 2018 car crash while on duty. The service is set to be held at 3 cross church in castro valley. That he was hired to take care of. And the Santa Clara CountySheriffs Department believes there could be more victims out there. And he says once this facility is constructed, they will offer shelter numerous times to the unhoused people there. And if you do not accept it, they will be swept. Right now, its an empty lot. But soon a housing complex will stand with 150. A small step to help bring the thousands of currently unhoused people in san jose get off the street. Yes, it is very difficult. So the union says that these deputies are facing fatigue and other health problems, too, because of the staffing shortage. The Deputy Sheriffs Association, they wrote a letter to mayor breed as well as the board president saying we need help immediately because they say they are simply overworked, get this. They commission their own study and they say that according to the study, they are working 28 hours over time each week. That is 3 times the set limit over the set limit shut. So they say that puts him in jeopardy while theyre at work as far as their health is concerned. And it also, but sir geoffrey in health when theyre not at work because they have all kinds of issues. Most was shot and killed a little over a year ago while working as a Loss Prevention officer at this home depot in pleasanton. Police say he was shot after confronting a woman for shoplifting. That woman was later identified as benicia naps. She was eventually charged with murder and her accomplice. David guillory was charged with child endangerment and accessory to robbery. Now is the 2 are set to go to trial. A plea agreement has been reached with naps, pleading guilty with the sentence of 19 years to life and guillory pleading guilty with a sentence of 7 years and 4 months. She says it was the familys decision to offer this deal instead of going through a protracted trial with grisly details and potential appeals. It gives us our life back.
