According to San Francisco police, 78 yearold mary fallout was driving her white suv too fast down you, lois street when she crashed into this muni bus shelter, hitting a family of 4 killing a man, a woman and a child, the only survivor and infant still in the hospital with lifethreatening injuries. Yet this is a family is really heartbreaking because, you know, i can just imagine the family was just enjoying a beautiful saturday and then for this to happen and all their loved ones, just, you know, our heart goes out to lau has been charged with 3 counts of manslaughter, reckless driving with bodily injury, driving the wrong way on a divided highway, unsafe speed and reckless driving. San francisco District AttorneyBrooke Jenkins released a statement monday saying in part, quote, there are no words to adequately describe this tragedy. My offices Victim Services division has been in touch with the victims family and will work with them closely. The stabbing happened just before 3 yesterday afternoon at an apartment on University Avenue between san pablo avenue in sacramento Street Berkeley pd says it is not releasing any other details until the daughter has been charged. She has been booked into the santa rita jail. Oakland and Alameda County leaders announcing a 2 Million Dollar investment into the hamburger quarter corridor today. Every year millions of people travel through the area to get to and from the airport, the city claims auto burglaries, robberies and larceny have actually decreased over the last year. But they admit theres still a lot of work to do to restore public confidence. Today. The city announcing an increase in the number of officers in the area 7 days a week, meaning more foot patrols.
