This and the other day was blocked and then outside was blocked from all the cars coming protesters stayed inside the International Terminal until around 11 20am, and then moved outside where they joined another group of protesters for about a half an hour before dispersing Police Officer standing by in riot gear. But no arrests were made. The San Francisco Police Department says they facilitated and monitored the First Amendment activity. Their statement saying in part, quote, we are working with our state, local and federal Law Enforcement partners to continue to monitor any activity that may affect the safety and security of San Francisco international tsa workers close the ag gates security entrances and passengers were guided to other areas for security screening during the nearly 3 hour protest. The protest shut down traffic for nearly 4 hours. 18 people were arrested. 78 were charged in connection with unlawful Public Assembly due to that protest. Todays protests come as israels military has struck a United Nations Food Distribution center in gaza, killing a staff member and at least 4 other people that happened as multiple efforts are underway to get more aid into gaza and quickly, a cargo ship with 200 tons of food is sailing from for gaza, from cyprus. They were reportedly shot while trying to run away. The suspects that took the victims car. That victim is expected to survive despite being shot. Oakland police are warning residents and visitors about an uptick in vehicular robberies in that city. They say recent cases show the desert targeting people inside their cars more often officers are reminding people to always be on the lookout for suspicious behavior. They say to store items in your trunk or under a car seat out of you. If you do fall victim, they say try to remain calm, dont resist.
