John, good morning to you know, and i kind of love it this fall feel that we have this weekend. I welcomed it with open arms, but i hope youre ready for it with those umbrellas with those jackets always has a good idea, especially this time of year to exactly as tara and james said, just have those extra layers, especially if youre heading out the vehicle, looking out there at the Golden Gate Bridge. Weve got a little sign of fog right there in the marine headlines. Youve got a bunch of fog up in the north bay this morning. The rest of us have cleared out. Really nice after what was such a rainy day yesterday, middle peak and mount tam got over 2 inches of rainfall yesterday sf in san jose between a 10th and quarter of an inch of rain. So some of us more than others for sure. But we all got at least a Little Something and it really is made for nice, clean air as were working our way into your monday. Start again. That fog along 101 in the north bay side. From that nice and clear showers at this point are well to the south down towards the very southern end of kern county, inland areas of southern california. Showers from this point forward are actually going to avoid the bay area. We will see some later this week in the northern part of the state as well as a little bit of snowfall in the sierra come thursday and friday. But what weve got in the day is just going to be an increasingly cool forecast as were surrounded by these storm systems that wont do anything for us except for keep temperatures down. As you can see, a rainfall the rest of the week, pretty much nonexistent. Maybe a sprinkle or 2 for some inland areas, 60s to 70s for your daytime highs in sf and 60s at the oast. The 70s that were seeing for the rest of the bay area are going to be some of the warmest temperatures that we have for the rest of this forecast. And were not at all by any means hot today. And weve got some corporate earnings due this week. Whats on your radar . Yeah, its earning season for sure. Big tech is a new report this week. A lot of financials did last week so we can get apple and microsoft Google Companies like that they have all the profits right now. Kinda, looking forward to the 10 year treasury 4. 9 today that read out the markets to be open. But the kind of rally back as the 10 year treasury down back 4. 88 big headline news. Im chevrons biden hast 53 billion dollars after a couple weeks ago. Exxon pioneer. So theyre strong oil demand. Whole electric vehicle puoh isnt happening as fast as people wanted in the electric vehicle world. And were Still Using Oil and gas. And, you know, it may be hurting our our planet 2 weeks. Going to talk about exxon mobil buying a pioneer, some incidents hate email like youre youre promoting the death of our planet. Like no knives, talk business. But thats the big story of today. Bitcoins above 30,000. Its not there to just like a mutual fund, and that would legitimize it a little bit some people are speculating on that day. And dont forget, thanksgiving is around the corner and popeyes its own and 99. Turkey you can do eat serve and it was real popular. Last couple yourself. I stay with whats working, to speak, ok, very good. And i liked music bed. By the way. Its very track full, but also very i dont if you can hear that, but i can hear it. Its very cool. Some birds chirping in. Theres a little bit some going a little bit. I think, potentially you look into that. I want to talk a little bit about a car payments because of blew my mind when i saw what the average car payment is these days for a new car . And its not surprising. But at the level it is why so many people are starting to fall behind on their car payments is a pretty crazy interesting. I dont see the audio, lets move no percent, california, 50,000 a month higher payment. Crazy leaves. Hold just a im hearing some audio to somebody speaking on whatever track that is. Well try and get that squared away. Not quite sure whats playing, but i just want to make sure it doesnt u. S. Winning impact. Whatever it is were trying to talk about because its making it hard to chat with your little bit. Tell you what maybe will take a quick break. Well try to get that squared to if we can. Well bring it back. If which i with tomorrow because theres lots to talk about now. I do want to talk to a bit more about the car payments thing at about apple trying to lore younger people into a if we fix the problem, maybe we have okay. We have fixed it. Thank you very much for being patient with us. Rob, lets get to that second story then about more more people car payments by like 60 days. Yeah, in these are what are called subprime and their lower credit score. So its important. Keep your credit score high subprime is going get you 11 and a half percent car payment. 18 and a half percent payment. Used and those are high rates. Prime, for instance, a 6. 4 new, an 8. 7 used a new car payments averaging 725 for most americans. Like i said, california surpassed 1000 month, 20 of us because we have the electric vehicles that cost 100,000. You know, generation z theyre paying more for car payments. Pay for rent is a big 80 of americans cant of 40 new car. The number of delinquencies is telling us that a recession is very likely coming because its 6 level. Now its expected to climb up to about 10 . And you add in the 1 trillion dollars a credit card at the lack of stimulus money being left over and you add in student debt repayments come back on it kind of looks like its a bad time to own a vehicle so he can foot it today or take might be able to save some bucks. Yeah. Okay. And then our final a topic this morning. Apple trying to get more and more younger sports fans into their ecosystem. How they go about doing that. Well, theyre going to try to get formula one there to pay double what the current espn deal is in the united states. But the paint double for the whole world. Whats really interesting about this is there are also talking maybe sunday night football, but the average formula watchers, 36 years old for the nba. Its 42 for the nhl and 49 for Major League Baseballs 57. So apple wants that. But that premium person whos formula one is considered to be kind of a luxury apple considered a luxury brand. Its really interesting. The fight for sports rights or its its hot. And if you want to watch like the giants, apple has no interest in getting like a baseball package thats regional. They want international any want something young formula one can grow for the next 10 years. Its pretty interesting like exclusive. They like global. The lake premium and that all falls right into place. Now, theyre also talk about picking up national nba games Like National baseball games. But this is all about selling phones. Theyve also talked about potentially espn are making a deal with espn to distribute their content on their phones apple tv plus service. So i just bring it down. Their sports are hot right now. And if you can get a sport that skews towards younger people, now at a formula. One definitely does. Where pickleball what . 90. Dont get mad at right . Thats what apple strategy is kill young youre rich. Thats surprising. I didnt realize the average age of an nba fan was in the 40s. I kinda swore that wouldve been younger. But i mean, i guess not. They know the metrics. All right, rob, as always, thank you very much. And well chat rob again tomorrow. So get your questions and comments in now. You can reach him on social media. And we are in for a fall trend of weather just without the rainfall in this one. Looking outside at some clear skies out there right now, nothing but sunshine right now. And youre east bay hills camera. We are seeing a little bit of fog for only a few spots further inland up in the north bay. And its enough so that we do have some dense fog advisories up there are in napa as well as Sonoma Countys portions of them, especially along 101. So watch your travels up there.
