But he was released to his parents, the family in the land rover all had to be taken to a nearby hospital because of complaints of pain. Police say the mustang with the taunting license plates had led officers on a number of chases over the past month, but had always evaded capture. No other drivers were injured in this crash. Southbound lanes of highway 87 in san jose are closed as caltrans crews are working to repave the roads. Drivers who are thinking of heading into the south bay this weekend should plan for delays and detours. This closure will mostly impact southbound traffic from blossom hill road to east julian street. It is not expected to impact travel to downtown san jose or the airport. Caltrans says the project could take 20 years. They did not close these lanes in order to get that word. You know, the work done. We have that area of High Pressure that was heating us up now we have that system dropping in bringing us cooler temperatures because it did feel like summer and the last few days. So timing out that rain here. So you see the clouds here in the future cast at this hour. Now you a move on to the overnight hours into the 07 00am hour. There you see that activity is going to start on and off showers in the north bay and it will be widespread through noon hour. And you can expect that pattern to persist through the evening. So you notice that we have that area High Pressure that brought us that summerlike temperatures and now low pressure has dropped in. Thats why you notice it was cooler today and more cloudy and you can expect cloudy skies on sunday as that low system moves down to our area, bringing us some light showers to our area starting in the morning. So lets time this out for you on the futurecast. You notice this hour, the 10 00pm hour we have partly cloudy skies, especially along the coast and then into the overnight hours. Then you see that light rain start to move on in widespread across the east and south bay andinorth bay. But around 09 30am. Thats when you notice some heavy bands of rain, particularly in the north bay. Theres even a chance of a thunderstorm in napa county and the interior east bay. So its pretty going to be widespread throughout your sunday. So on and off showers, just keeper. Rain jacket handy. If youre going to be going out, we start to clear out in the afternoon and we dry out monday. Far as rain totals go. Here are the projected about half an inch in santa rosa and avato we have about a quarter of an inch and napa and about 2 tenths in oakland.
