To it. And one of our coolest mornings weve had so far this season. Now its not because we actually heat up quite a lot under all that sunshine. Youve got later on today. First, lets get a look outside at the embarcadero. Not a whole lot of cloud cover going on out there. Not at the coast north to our inland areas and temperatures even at this late morning, our 9 oclock now still in the 40s for redwood city as well as a couple other spots in the north bay. Some of us are warming up, though, like in San Francisco as well as alameda and san mateo back into the low 60s. Still a little cooler than we were at the same point yesterday that changes this afternoon with all that sunshine. Weve actually got a warmer one to be expected later with daytime highs reaching the low 80s for some of our inland areas. All of your full breakdown on todays sunshine and some chances of rain this weekend. All still to come rain. All right, john, thank you for lets check on your morning commute for you. Our top story this morning, the San Franciscos Teachers Union is eoing to be announcing today weather there voting to authorize a strike. Exactly. No matter the results that we will find out at noon if the teachers vote to go on strike or not, you wont have any problems dropping off your child inside the classrooms today. Probably not a problem tomorrow or even monday because we are not officially yet at a strike, but they will have to circle back a second time. Even if we find out that the vote was yes today. And explain in just a few moments. The parents, they are very concerned, obviously with whats going on there. 132 schools in San Francisco, 50,000 kids throughout the city. Theyre inside the classrooms at stake. Whether or not their teachers. Well be inside the classrooms and the teachers and the union. They say, well, that all depends on the unified School District. They are looking for a significant pay raise more than the 10,000 that the School District is offering per year per teacher. Right now the teachers are fighting the unified School District. Theyre back at the bargaining table on monday. But joining in on the fight are the parents. You know, hopefully this cause parents to pressure the district into giving the teachers what they need. Because its not the teachers fault that they dont have the resources and the pay to survive in this incredibly expensive city. Even if the teachers voted yes for the strike authorization and they spent yesterday between 4 and placing their votes, even if they vote. Yes, it does not mean that a strike is imminent because they will have to circle back. They will be asked again, are you sure you want to go on strike . And if its yes at that time, then a strike gets closer and closer. But we do know that the 2 sides will be back at the bargaining table on mondays. So you wont have any problems as you can clearly see. Many students are still showing up to school this morning. Okay. Well, well see what that comes down like today. Thank you. Will.
