We really havent heard this kind of heightened rhetoric, but the message that weve gotten from Israeli Military forces is that they are looking for a conclusion to all of this. That is absolute. Thats whats happening down at the gaza strip. But its not just there. If you look at israels northern border as well. Israeli air force says that they had to engage in attacks today on lebron, not thats the northern side of the country here where the Palestinian Islamic is now claiming responsibility for attacks at that more northern border there, which means not only is the southern portion of israel and a potential contentious situation. But also the north as well. So thats what were talk about when we say it seems as though the anti continues to be as we stand here hour by hour in israel. But when you talk to people on the ground here, they say that this all just feels so different. Yes, the average israeli citizen, theyre very used to the constant threat of missiles and bombings. Theyre very used to the air raid. Sirens going off. But there is this feeling. All right. We want to take you live to a News Conference taking place outside the chinese consulate in San Francisco. Lets listen be of the chinese consulate. Officers entered make contact with the suspect and an officer involved shooting occurred. Officers rendered aid and and paramedics from steps fire department. And in spite of lifesaving efforts of the police officers, firefighter, paramedics and personnel at the hospital. The suspect was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. This is an open and active investigation. And the San FranciscoPolice Department is currently working and coordinating with investigators from the u. S. State department. Theres very Little Information that we can give it this time. And we do ask that if anyone was a witness, if anyone has a new video, we know there are some cell phone video thats already circulating out there to please contact investigators anything that you can that, you know, led to this would certainly be helpful. And we will be having a town hall within 10 days of this incident. Yeah, we dont have any information about the suspect at this time. Of course, this is a unique investigation because it didnt happen inside the lobby of the chinese consulate, those. So theres a number of agencies and jurisdictions that are involved. So this is far different than our normal officerinvolved shooting, which really does unfortunately impact the amount of information that we can get to it this time. That were working to determine the lead agency and his conduct an investigation as with any o i you know, there investigators are here from internal affairs division, our Investigative Services to tell the das office independent Investigation Bureau as well as a part of police accountability. But we dont yet know what that investigation is going to look like. Other i dont have any information on that that can talk about this time. Driving. Thats information that i have is that the that were involved in officerinvolved shooting was connected with the vehicle inside the it is the visa i dont know how many people were involved or were inside the visa office at the time of the collision.
