Having worked through the night in an effort to reach an agreement. There has been a lot of progress with agreements reached on several specific proposals late tuesday. Only one of them survived. San jose police say the 2 who died were not related. Investigators are now trying to figure out how the children ended up in that pool area in the first place. A walkway that leads from the back door sliding door into the back area. There is access point into the pool area and somehow along the way, there are ways that those no charges have yet been filed. But according to the California Department of social services, investigators toward that home daycare back in 2020 for a pre licensing inspection and changes to the pool area were requested by the department in 2021. Well, there you hear the 911 call and a heroic act caught on body camera. Video is a san pablo Police Officer saves a one weekold baby from choking that 911. Call came in last month with the caller saying, as you heard that a baby was choking. Turns out it was on milk. Officer Brandon Oswald was just around the corner. Actually here. Ive within seconds in here, you can see in the video cant giving the baby back blows this lodging, that milk until the baby started crying on monday, officer oswald was awarded the prestigious lifesaving medal. He says the incident actually hit close to home because hes a new father. And oswald recommends at everybody get first aid class training and learn how to apply cpr, especially on, you know, little children like that because its a different process. Sergio ortega was recently awarded a Commanders Commendation for saving a one yearold. The Police Department says that are taken responded to a call about a child who was unresponsive and not breathing back on august. 30th. He rendered aid and the child started breathing again. That child was taken to the hospital for a checkup. And hes doing ok this morning. A woman is recovering after she was trapped under a driverless cruise vehicle. It happened on 5th and market streets in San Francisco on monday night. And now San Francisco police are looking for the driver of the vehicle that they believe first hit that woman and then took off and then she was again hit by the cruise vehicle. Heres video from the scene of the crash. Cruz released footage of this car that was involved to investigators and it shows the driverless cruise car and then another car waiting at an intersection for a traffic light to turn green. Both of those vehicles move as soon as the light turns. And then thats when the pedestrian tries to cross. The video shows that that the car that was driven by someone, someone was behind the wheel. They hit that woman and they drove away. And then she is thrown from the front of the cruise car and is run over. Police say the woman was stuck pinned underneath the cruise car and it took the jaws of life to rescue her. She suffered traumatic injuries. We do not know her condition this morning and police have not released her identity. Well, an antioch man now sentenced to 3 and a half years in federal prison for illegal gun dealing.
