We have kron 4 sports director jason dumas, us with the highlights. Weve been hyping up this niners raiders matchup all weekend for good reason. Theres obviously the San Francisco oakland bay area connection. But even past that, weve got storylines aplenty. But what we got was oldfashioned behind whip in in los vegas. I have still never been to this stadium. Ive only seen it from the outside. Never inside. I need to get their first drive for the niners was ugly. Here, trey lance gets sacked. He was sacked twice on the opening drive. Niners cant get anything going. On the ensuing drive, the raiders go right down the field state punching in here. The mere white makes it 7 to nothing raiders. 2nd quarter. After driving down the field. Trey lance almost gets picked off. Cant make this throw sometimes left is all you all deflection. Ross right place, right town. He scores a touchdown. Good moment for the niners. All closing had. Aidan oconnell finds keelan cole senior for the 9 yard touchdown and the raiders take the lead heading into halftime. Lets go to the 3rd graders up 10 in the niners issues continue. Sam darnold fines. Cameron lot too. And come on, man. Ball security. Turn the ball over that deep in your territory. Bad things happen. Case in point. Very next possession, sincere mccormick scores a sincere touchdown who truly sincere. Mccormick, the raiders go on to win this one. 34 to 7, 8 feet down. Well hear from both coaches after the game. But that the defense was, you know, really connected. You know, tonight for the most part and tried to make the windows as tight as it could. Were punching stripping at the ball a bit. So thats what we want to play. And thats how we want to force the offense to, you know, drive the ball do it that way. Didnt give up a bunch of big plays good, complimentary football anytime you can turn it over and then turned those turnovers into points and be on a short field. Thats helpful. I mean, i got off to a rough start for 3, 3, an ounce for the offense, the first 3 times. Dont put that on trade by any that the whole offense a sloppy to start. Sloppy is an understatement. All right. Thats a look at sports. 7. 46 right now. And before you head out the door, lets take peek at the weather. All i saw meteor shower. Told me to see for 4 meteors and one like thats pretty cool. Yeah, our i was livermore valley. John. We are. Not so like we had some low clouds are some high clouds last night or saturday night . Yeah, i can remember because i was asleep for all of i wanted i wanted to staff its to happen. Im glad one of us on the team got a to see the meteors, though. And we have a mix of some of those high clouds that james is talking about as well as just a touch of the fog. Thats right there through the golden gate this morning, we are seeing another morning without a whole lot of the fog and not a whole lot of marine layer going on for inland areas. Something interesting going on off shore right now. We actually do have some thunderstorms out there about 100 miles offshore. Francisco. Those are not going make their way our direction and partly because we have an offshore wind winds transporting hot, dry air from our inland valleys, out towards the coastline. Thats the way weve been this weekend. We replace that, though. And eventually this low pressure sets up shop directly to the west of us. And because of that, we will start to get some access to that ocean cool there further inland. And that will at least have some moderating effect on temperatures. Notice the direction those clouds are going today from inland areas out towards the coastline. Its an offshore wind will be in a very light one, but it is enough to keep a lot of that fog, at least from getting further inland. And a lot of that cooler air along with it. So even though we do have those cool 60s and 70s for spots like San Francisco and the coastline, thats about the only area that will call at least comfortable the rest of us kind of a scorcher saying carlos redwood city in woodside well into the 90s, south bay temperatures also climbing into the 90s. Even a couple of triple digits for inland spots like livermore and danville. Well, san leandro, 83 oakland up to richmond are most mild spots in the east bay in the 70s, antioch, pittsburgh, vacaville and walnut creek just shy of 100 degrees today. Looking ahead, tomorrows temperatures as well as wednesday. Still high but not as hot as today. So at least were moving in the right direction. Thursday and friday is when youll start to notice things starting to cool down by the weekend. Most of us inland upper 80s to low 90s. Well, 70s along the bay shore rain. All right, john, thank that a over in the east bay and youre traveling along 8. 80, right now. Traffic has been slowly but gradually building a 45 minute ride down to 37 84 east, right . The if youre just east of 8. 80, there is a little accident right there. So that close to getting on the dumbarton bridge. So things are slowing down there just a little bit as well. Southbound 6. 80, traveling to signal traffic has been building the bay bridge went 14 minutes. Last time we had a hazard there to cause it to 18. Thats gone. 60 minutes. 81 1 via your san mateo bridge, south bay oneonone about 50 minutes. 85 up to menlo park and 80 right now. Crockett down towards the mace to richmond, berkeley. Things are slow. So about 30 minutes there. Darya. James, back to you. Thanks a lot. Ran at 7. 49.
