Will this report essentially says that the fire crews says it was really just a friendly ride and after dropping off the woman in a bikini and high heels at the strip club, which is pink poodle in san jose. Now, last october, there was a viral video on social media that showed a woman in a bikini and high heels. Getting off of the san jose fire engine outside of the citys only fully nude strip club, which is pink poodle. Now, according to the citys 100 page report, that was released by a judge just recently, were going to get video of the report. There were 4 fire officials on board at the time. And this is a photo that was released in the report. There was no, there was also a professional photographer that was on board who is said to have worked at the strip club in is also friends of fire. Captain william technology, who was one of those 4 officials. Now reports say that the photographer had taken headshots of the fire crew and then went to drop them off at the firehouse when he got there, he realized that he had more photos of the crew, but he left it on a thumb drive that his work, which was the strip club. Now, the fire captain william not see, offered to give him a ride there to pick them up. And when they got there to the club, the photographer called coworker to bring the thumb drive out. Who was the woman in the bikini of that viral video and she then hopped into the engine and said, i quote, wanna ride to naji says he decided to appease her and give her a ride around the block along with the other crew members, but now admits it was a poor decision as a cost him a demotion for misconduct misuse of City Property failing to perform his duties and failing to follow the departments rules and mount none of the 4 fire officials remember this. The engines gps shows that it then stopped at a chase restaurant and bar, which is a bikini bar not too far away from the first location. Technology was the only person that was disciplined in the situation was demoted to rank of engineer. And as for those additional photos that were on that thumb drive, that they had went there to get allegedly, according to the report, they never got those photos because thumb drive left with the photographer. First, what happened yesterday around 2. 30, at Martin Luther king junior regional shoreline boat launch right near the oakland airport. Officers say they found a man dead with a gunshot wound. And just 10 minutes later, police found a man shot and killed near the lake merritt bart station. Bart police say they use Video Surveillance to help pinpoint a suspect and took a man into custody within 2 hours of that shooting. We use barr told us theyre concerned to see Something Like this happen that such a busy station in the middle of the day. Very, very challenging to, you know, see this happening within our community. Mark police say theres no indication that the victims were bart riders. They believe they just happened to be near the bart station when this happened. Well, 100 firefighters were called in to fight fire burning at an apartment complex in San Franciscos inner sunset last night. Activity from the citizen app showing the scene. Captain Jonathan Baxter says that fire started at about 8. 30, in the area of 8th avenue and irving a lot of activity. Baxter says the heavy flames were coming from the second floor of that complex. He says the fire spread to a Hardware Store right behind that complex as well as the shed behind the store. Baxter says nobody was hurt. Luckily, but an unknown amount of people were displaced. The cause of that fire still under investigation. Well, in the north bay, Santa Rosa City council has unanimously voted to make changes to their no camping law for People Living on the streets. And addition to laying out very specific restrictions for where people can set up their tents in a public space. That newly added ordinance will now be in compliance with federal law. Yeah, thats is by making sure that their shelter available for person before theyre told to leave. That was a requirement. Santa rosa will prohibit in campus now in city parks anywhere that blocks pedestrian access, fire lanes or near transit hubs or bus shelters in within 100 feet of a school. It also makes it illegal for people to set up tents bigger than 10 by 10 feet and within 4 feet of another person in a tent. They cant have unpermitted electrical connections and no dumping of gray or black water. That also the homeless. They wont be able to have Flammable Liquids or toss out hypothermic needles. They also ban anything that disrupts wildlife or damaged public property. Thats for cooking. Its going to have to be done in city installed facilities. Well, Council Members raised concerns that this law focuses on what people can do instead of where they can go to live peacefully. And that was one of the points of contention. That suggests that they might later have to visit the idea of a sanctions space for encampments with in santa rosa. Although thats not clear just yet. Well, its getting expensive to live in San Francisco, according to the latest report from zillow, average price to rent in the citys at more than half a percentage point compared to this time last year. Theyre looking for something a lot more than what the city is prepared to offer, which is 5 for a proposed deal in the first year. Right now, the 2 sides are about 20 Million Dollars apart. Back to you. All right. Well, thank you for that breakdown. Were talking about in the south bay. A Pilot Program aims to help people that are struggling with drug addiction. Yeah. Starting in just a few weeks, Santa Clara County will give gift cards to people addicted to meth. If they stay clean for at least 2 months. Kron Justin Campbell has the story. A new initiative launched by the state piloted in multiple counties will give gift cards to drug users if they test negative for methamphetamine every week, the first week, its 10 each time. So up to 20 and that it incrementally goes up. Max they can get over the 24 week period is 599. Program manager tammy ramsey says participants wont be allowed to buy alcohol, tobacco or lottery tickets with their gift cards but can shop at a variety of stores, including walmart, nike and home depot. Its not the gift cards that are important. The intent of the program is positive reinforcement. So the whole concept of it is you are getting a reward for your positive behavior. Ramsey says after alcohol, methamphetamine users make up the secondlargest portion of drug users in Santa Clara County. And theres also no fda approved drug for treatment for methamphetamine users like there is for opioid. So they have to try something statewide initiative to see. If this Incentive Program does help. Key people in treatment longer and keep them. Clean longer. Theyre hoping to roll out the program in the next few weeks. She expects about 90 people to sign up the program. We havent heard back yet. On the peninsula, police in san carlos are now investigating after a home depot Security Guard shot a suspected shoplifter. It happened monday night at about 10 oclock at the store on old county road. The Sheriffs Office says the guard confronted the suspect identified as Jonathan Mackey and the fight broke out between them. Thats when Officials Say mackey grabbed the guards baton began striking him around the head and face with it before throwing on through a glass door. The Security Guard then shot back. There was a a deputy close proximity who heard the shots responded called for additional units. The deputy quickly detained. The suspect provided first aid for the gunshot wound until medics arrived on scene. Mackey was released from the hospital and booked on charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. In this case, it was a Security Guard that intervene. But Authorities Say you as a shopper should never insert yourself into a situation where somebody a shoplifting. Bart announced this week the Transit Agency was awarded the contract for almost 800 new fare gate. The goal is not only to deter fare evasion, but also improve access. Its a 90 Million Dollar project paid for by bart county settled staff and state funds. Bart spokesperson alicia trost says the fare gates are necessary to keep the Transit System running. We know barton loses millions of dollars of fare evasion and at the same time we do offer lowincome discounts and discounts for youth and seniors. But we do charge a fair and we need people to pay their fair specially as remote work popular and were trying to get more and more people to take part for other reasons than a work commute. Well, the new gates will first be rolled out in oakland as for the next steps, bart will study how the new gates work this december half of our stations will be converted next year.
