The governor has acknowledged that Forest Management is an issue but not the issue newsome pointing out that most forest land in california is federally owned still should our leaders be addressing more thoroughly both concepts Climate Change and Forest Management i asked our political analysts. Over 45 of californias 33 million acres are controlled by the u. S. Forest service and therefore its measured budget has all gone to fighting fires. So trump can blame this all in california. And you can remove Climate Change from the equation. The droughts are killing all vegetation that are tinder for fires. We didnt have fire tornadoes before the world got warmer, super fires are now the norm not a rarity Climate Change is killing our forests and then setting them ablaze deny that and you deny science. So the president s here in california and the question is should we talking about Global Warming or should we be talking about Forest Management. Well if you believe Global Warming is the cause. Then you need to up your Forest Management because you cant change Global Warming overnight but allocated resources to thinning out for us whether its in the bay area in between towns ranga and orinda or whether its in the National Force should be a priority.
