The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department is now offering a 100,000 reward to find the man who shot and injured 2 deputies in an ambush this attack happened around 7 last night in compton and the Surveillance Video was released by the agency showing a person walking up to the passenger side of a parked patrol vehicle before opening fire and then running away. The deputies involved in this incident are both rookies they were sworn in less than 14 months ago. One deputy is a 31 yearold mother the other is a 24 yearold man. The store was closed for a short time but had it has since reopened a person is in custody tonight in connection to a fatal stabbing in santa cruz overnight. Around 3 this morning officers say they found a 43 yearold man with multiple stab wounds at depot park medics took the man to the hospital where he later died. Crews now have the czu complex fire in san mateo and santa cruz counties at 87 containment and 86,000 acres have burned there.
